1994 Chevrolet Astro Cs Ext 8-passenger Van- 2 Owner- Very Low Mileage on 2040-cars
Shawnee, Kansas, United States
Two (2)-Owner. 99,000+ mileage. Dark red metallic paint. In past two (2) years, we have spent over $2500 in general maintenance parts alone. All done by a certified mechanic I have personally known for over 30 years. It runs, handles & rides even better than when we purchased it. Price just set to recover what we put into it in parts alone. Our loss is your gain. You will not find an Astro with half it's age in this GOOD of condition anywhere... or for this price. First owner was a Fire Marshall's vehicle used for Fire Safety & Prevention Education. Nobody hardly ever rode in the van but driver, & only educational materials were transported in the back. No towing either (YES, it does have the Factory TOW package). Never abused or trashed. Interior is terrific, really. Exterior has scratches, nicks, or dings common for it's age. A brief list of what's been serviced and replaced in the past couple of years is as follows: MECHANICAL COSMETIC You'll notice in the photos that we did NOT 'SLICK' this van up with a bunch of vinyl/interior and/or tire dressing to fool anybody about what they're bidding on (like some dealers do). These pics are bare-bones after a quick wash. What you see is what you get... just how we prefer too! OTHER AGAIN... this is a 1994. The last year of production was 2005. You won't find even a 2004 Astro that is in this good of condition mechanically or cosmetically anywhere near this price. You won't be disappointed. Even if you just want one for a work vehicle, this will do, as actual cargo models have all been beaten to death (checkout other listings)! Just take out the two back seats & use it. It does have privacy glass all around to help keep your tools & belongings from being in clear/open view. All seats are included (no missing seats like some other listings). SERIOUS inquiries ONLY. If you're serious, then message me if you need additional pics or information, and I will respond ASAP. NO TRADES. CASH or LOCAL Cashier's Check ONLY. Must have Paypal for non-refundable deposit required. I just drove a 2002 from California to Kansas City. That being said, I would drive THIS 1994 Chevy Astro across the entire country without hesitation! TITLE is CLEAN & IN-HAND. |

Chevy Corvette Z06, Ford F-150 Raptor join Lego Speed Champs
Tue, Oct 20 2015Get ready to park some performance machines on your desk: Lego's 2016 line of Speed Champions kits will add seven new vehicles for next year, according to an update to the database Brickset. These include some serious muscle like a Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and Ford Mustang GT. There's also a listing called "Chevrolet Camaro Drag Race" and a very cool combo titled "Ford F-150 Raptor Ford/Model A Hot Rod". Fans of European performance don't need to be jealous, though. The database shows a kit called "Porsche 919 Hybrid and 917K Pit-Lane." Plus for fans of the Four Rings, the Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro and R8 LMS Ultra are also getting their own Lego models. Fourtitude appears to have some leaked shots, if you want to see what these kits will look like. Lego has partnered with Porsche, McLaren, and Ferrari and offers Speed Champions kits for vehicles like the Porsche 918 Spyder, McLaren P1, Ferrari 458 Italia GT2, and LaFerrari. The models in the series aren't as heavily detailed as the massive Mini Cooper or Volkswagen Bus sets, but they make up for that in value. The individual cars retail for a fairly affordable $14.99. The Formula One playset tops the current range at $99.99, but it comes with a truck, racecar and team figures.
Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.
'Baby Driver' is a car chase movie set to music
Mon, Mar 13 2017The Fate of the Furious is certainly the 6,000-pound SUV in the garage of automotive movies, but that doesn't mean gearheads are starved for options. The upcoming film Baby Driver looks to be a winner for car guys, featuring exciting chases with cars including a "hawk-eye" Impreza WRX, a Dodge Challenger, and a 1980s Chevy Caprice. The movie is written and directed by Edgar Wright, whom you may know as the man behind movies such as Sean of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. And based on the two trailers released so far, seen above and below, it's about a young man by the name of Baby, who is a getaway driver for criminals. He's apparently the best in the business, and the secret to his success is the music he listens to while he's driving. He also wants out, but his boss, played by Kevin Spacey, has no intention of letting him go. Spacey is one of a number of major stars in the film, including Jamie Foxx and John Hamm. The driving action shown in the trailers definitely looks entertaining. The WRX is seen doing an array of drifts and J-turns. There is some driving precision on display here that wouldn't be out of place in a Gymkhana video. And it looks like Wright's attention to detail in his shots and transitions, as well as some solid comedy relief, are all going to be present. The film comes out this August.
