This is a very nice 1988 s10 with a 502 big block and a 700r4 tranny with all new seals and shift kit engine has a 496 stroker kit with an over bore to 502 has edelbrock thunder series roller cam and lifters and comp cam roller rockers comp push rods and guides comp cams double roller timing chain has weind intake factory heads polished and mild porting and matching valve springs has all felpro gaskets and one pice oil pan gasket ..has manifolds and 2 1/2 true duel exsuast going threw flow master 44 and tail pipes that exit at roll pan with turn downs.. all new energy suspension body bushing all new brakes and rotors and all new rear drum kits.. Rear end is a factory 10 bolt with c clip eliminators and hardened 30 spline axles and Eaton posi with 410 gears... engine and rear end personally built nice black paint and really nice interior no cracks in dash.. truck dose nt have heat spedo dose not work and fuel gauge..tiers all have 3/4 tread on them truck has never been raced only been driven about 500 miles since build the frame is graphite gray and whole under carriage is base coat clear jet black...msd hvc ingnition box and msd coil and Mallory distributor taylor wiers .. morso air cleaner and valve cover...offers are welcome truck is for sale locally so I reserve to end auction early if sold .... GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015
Mon, 25 Feb 2013General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.
Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf sales show big drops in September
Thu, Oct 1 2015As most readers likely know, it's not just lower gas prices that are affecting plug-in vehicle sales. The two long-time sales leaders in the US - the Nissan Leaf and the Chevy Volt - are getting long in the tooth. First introduced in late 2010, the vehicles have been updated here and there since then, but recent sales figures have been lagging behind where they were in 2014. This trend continued in September, with sales of both vehicles down in a big way compared to last year. Sales of Nissan Leaf totaled 1,247 for the month of September. This is down a whopping 56.7 percent from September 2014, but thankfully the year-to-date sales are not quite as negative. So far this year, Nissan has sold 13,630 Leafs, which is "just" 37.5 percent lower tan the YTD total at this point in 2014 (21,822). This decrease swims against the overall direction of Nissan's September sales, which were up 18 percent over last year and set a new September record. The Volt sold 949 units last month, down 31.9 percent from last September. Year to date, the Volt has sold 9,264 units, which is 36.3 percent lower than the number of Volts that were sold in the first nine months of 2014 (14,540). This downward trend might be coming to an end soon. The new Chevy Volt will go on sale in 11 US states later this fall, and the 2017 model will be available nationwide next spring. An updated Leaf for the 2016 model year also offers more miles – 107, vs 84 in the 2015 version – so potential customers who have been waiting for the latest and greatest will soon not have any excuses.
