Salem, New Hampshire, United States
|
We a proud to offer this 2003 Chevy s10 LS Model.......3 Door 4X4 Extended Cab Pickup with only 94k Orig Miles.
This is a 2003 CHEVROLET S10 LS 4X4 ExtendedCab. This truck is owned by our 87yo neighbor who can no longer drive. It is currently registered and insured. We are helping him to sell it. If you cannot pick it up within the seven day period ...we will be glad to store it inside our building until you are able to arrange shipping or pick up in person. We also would be happy to pick you up at our local Manchester/Boston Regional Airport any day of the week you prefer at NO CHARGE. We want to disclose any imperfections as honestly as we can. There is a dent on the rear top part of the bed and there were some holes thru the right rear bed about 1/2 inch....holding something in place by the previous owner. Also someone sprayed flat black paint on the lower part of the body all the way around the truck. The frame and undercarriage are in excellent condition. For some reason the Chevy s10 Pickups seem to be made from a much higher quality steel than all the other trucks built during that time. Honestly if this was a Ford or Toyota we would not be selling it. Even if it was a full size Chevy. Other than some very minor cosmetic issues this truck has been very well maintained. The truck runs perfect with no known defects. It has a clean Autocheck report with no accidents or other issues. This is a get in and drive away S10 needing no known repairs. It only has 94,184 miles. We encourage test drives in person. Driving impression is outstanding....the steering is tight with no wander. The 4x4 works as it should. The transmission shifts perfectly and the motor is quiet and responsive. The air conditioning is ice cold. The heater works great too. There are NO LEAKS of any kind. There are no Check engine codes present. We will be getting a new inspection sticker this week. Check our feedback and bid with confidence....We are offering this truck with NO RESERVE.........Be the highest bidder and win. We will answer any and all questions you may have. Thanks for looking and Good Luck Bidding. We do have it advertised locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. . |

GM struggles to sell small cars, plans to lay off 2,084 employees at two plants
Thu, Nov 10 2016Due to low demand for some of its vehicles, General Motors plans to cut 2,084 jobs at its assembly plants in Lordstown, OH and Lansing, MI. At the same time, the automaker also announced plans to invest approximately $900 million in three of its facilities – the Toledo Transmission Operations in Ohio, Bedford Casting Operations in Indiana, and Lansing Grand River in Michigan - for future products. GM will discontinue the third shift at both the Lansing Grand River plant and the Lordstown, OH plant. The Cadillac ATS, Cadillac CTS, and Chevrolet Camaro are made at the automaker's plant in Michigan, which currently has 2,700 employees. The move to eliminate the third shift affects 810 hourly workers, as well as 29 salaried employees, starting on January 16th. The plant in Lordstown, OH currently has 4,500 employees and makes the Chevrolet Cruze sedan. The plan to discontinue the third shift will affect 43 salaried workers and 1,202 hourly employees and will start on January 23rd. As Fortune points out, sales of the Cruze are down 20 percent through October, while sales of the Cadillac ATS and CTS were down 17 percent through the same period of time. In addition to cutting the third shift at both assembly plants, the automaker plans to invest a total of $900 million between three of its facilities for unnamed future products. GM's Toledo Transmission Operations will receive $667.6 million, the Lansing Grand River Assembly plant will receive $211 million, and the automaker's Bedford Casting Operations will get $37 million. Last year, GM cut roughly 500 jobs from its Orion Township factory due to slow sales of the Chevrolet Sonic and Buick Verano, with surging crossover and SUV sales as the most likely culprit. With GM posting much healthier sales figures for the Chevrolet Equinox and Cadillac XT5 compared to the ATS, CTS, and Cruze, it looks like compact SUVs are to blame for this year's layoffs as well. Chevy Cruze gets first official tease
Thu, Jun 4 2015The Cruze has been a runaway success for Chevy. In fact the company has sold over 3.5 million of them since its introduction in 2008. And now the company is preparing to roll out the all-new second-generation model, previewed in the teaser image above. Set to be unveiled on June 24, the 2016 Cruze promises to be larger, yet lighter, that the model it replaces. It will pack new engines, safety features, and technologies – including the integration of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The new Cruze will be based on the same platform that underpins the new Volt and (among others) the new Opel Astra just introduced in Europe. It'll be a vital model for Chevy, which sells the Cruze in 115 countries around the world – chief among them China, Brazil, Canada, and these United States, where sales continue to rise despite the model's age and impending replacement. Look for the second-gen Cruze to hit dealers early next year, joining a revitalized Chevy lineup alongside such notables as the new Spark, Malibu, and Camaro. Cruze Control: Success Paves Way for Next Generation Chevrolet's best-selling global car surpasses 3.5 million sales 2015-06-03 DETROIT – Chevrolet Cruze, the brand's best-selling car around the world, has surpassed 3.5 million global sales, a milestone that comes as Chevrolet prepares to introduce the next-generation Cruze on June 24. "When we introduced the Cruze it replaced 15 other compact vehicles around the globe," said Alan Batey, president, General Motors North America and global Chevrolet brand chief. "By consolidating design, engineering and marketing efforts, we were able to produce an award-winning, value-driven sedan that won over customers around the world." Cruze is sold in 115 countries. The top global markets include China, the United States, Brazil and Canada. In the United States, Cruze total sales were 273,060 in 2014 – a 10 percent increase over 2013. It is also the segment's second-best seller to customers under 25 in the U.S. Importantly, Cruze brings new buyers to Chevrolet – 35 percent of all buyers are new to the brand. Additionally, of those who trade in a Cruze, 56 percent stay with Chevrolet and 23 percent trade in for another Cruze. "In every corner of the globe, Cruze has been successful at introducing new and younger customers to Chevrolet," said Batey.
Chevy Bolt officially keeping name, says marketing boss
Thu, Apr 16 2015There might be just a little confusion at first, but the Bolt name is sticking around. After conducting two consumer studies into the name, Chevrolet isn't worried about the similarity of the monikers for the upcoming EV and existing Volt plug-in hybrid. In fact, the brand thinks the resemblance might be for the best. "The decision is made. The name won't be changed." Chevy head of marketing Tim Mahoney said to The Detroit Free Press. The research shows that the compatibility between the two names actually works quite well. With the Volt well established, people apparently already connect the Bolt to the Bowtie, which is just what a brand wants. Both studies indicated the ""same result, it did well," according to Mahoney. Just a few months ago, the future of the Bolt's name wasn't so clear. GM North America President Alan Batey said the company knew there might be confusion, and it was still mulling its options. The Bolt could be a breakthrough in the EV market with a 200-mile range and a possible price of around $30,000 after incentives. Production is set for the Orion Assembly plant in Michigan following a $200 million upgrade there, and the model could be in dealers as soon as 2017. That's just in time to take on the Tesla Model 3 with its claimed $35,000 price and similar driving distance as the Chevy. Related Video:
