1957 Chevy Pickup- SWB V-8 Apache Project. It has a small block V8 engine with 350 automatic transmission. Has front clip with power brakes and steering. I've had this truck for a while, and had big plans to complete but was not meant to be. It don't really need that much to be road ready, needs a little wiring. Pipes hooked up and new power steering hoses. and other stuff I have overlooked. It has good engine and trans but has been sitting up. The previous owner let the hood fly up and dented the cab. That is why the hood is a different color. It also needs hood hinges. I have the original title in my name and currant tag receipt. It is titled as a 57, but it may have some 55-56 parts? It's a pretty cool old truck. Very little rust. Much better than most. A friend of mine came over a few days ago and cranked it but I think he messed with timing and carb and got the timing off. I am selling as is. I love the old truck but just don't have the patience any more. Pleas remember it is not road worthy yet. Will have to be trailored. Please call me for a better description. I am never around the computer for e-mails. 601-473-9278 anytime. It's just an old project truck, no more, no less. But opinions vary so to avoid any misunderstandings if you are Picky Picky and hard to please and expect perfection That's Great, But please don't bid. No disrespect to anyone I just don't have the patience anymore.

GM expected to debut two new crossovers at Detroit Auto Show
Thu, Dec 15 2016Next month, General Motors is expected to debut two new crossovers at the North American International Auto Show. That's according to Automotive News and The Wall Street Journal, which reports that the successors to the aging Chevrolet Traverse and GMC Terrain will finally make their debut. The two crossovers have been on sale since 2009 and 2010 respectively and are due for updates as the competition has newer models on the market. Both crossovers play in growing market segments where sales success is crucial for the respective brands. GM, and the automotive industry as a whole, has been shifting its focus towards crossovers in the last few years. The Traverse and the Terrain are some of the oldest SUVs on the market and are in dire need of an update. GMC's Acadia, the former corporate clone to the Traverse (and Buick Acadia), switched to a new platform in 2016. And the Terrain's platform-mate, the Chevrolet Equinox, was revealed a few months ago. Both the new Chevy and GMC models are expected to go on sale late in 2017 as 2018 models. Look for a follow up to the Traverse's sister, the Buick Enclave, to make an appearance soon. 2016 Chevy Volt auctioned off to help the robots
Tue, Nov 10 2015One of the cool things about the 2016 Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in being auctioned off to raise money for kids' science and robotics program is that even the sedan's color sounds very scientific. Indeed, it's fitting that a "Kinetic Blue" Volt will be used to advance the scientific education of the country's students, according to Hybrid Cars. That is, if it fetches enough cash. Chevrolet parent General Motors was kind enough to donate a 2016 Volt to the so-called FIRST K-12 robotics program (FIRST stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). The program was founded in 1989. Last year, General Motors engineers worked with about 10,000 FIRST students in the US, but it looks like GM is now going the cold-hard-cash route to make its mark on future scientists. Bidding for the vehicle will take place until the morning of November 19, and, hopefully, it will generate enough interest to drive the bidding price up beyond its MSRP. As of Tuesday morning, nine bids had been taken, with the top one at $27,750. That's all fine and good except the car is pretty loaded with bells and whistles, and it's 53-mile electric-only range is a considerable jump from the first-generation Volt, so the car's "estimated value" is $40,245 (not factoring in the $7,500 federal tax incentive). That's a pretty good jump over the 2016 Volt's base price of $33,995, which marked a $175 price cut from the 2015 model. So pony up, folks. It's for the kids. Related Video:
