This is my 1954 Chevy flat bed 6400 truck. Its in very original condition and runs very good. It was purchased from the original owners who had it in a dry barn for many years . The truck still has the original paint and a very solid rust free body (small rust in cab corner shown in picture, very minor). Its powered by the original 6 cylinder engine and 4 speed manual trans with a two speed rear end. Drives down the road great. It also has a pto. All the brakes have been gone through and all new tires. Original wood bed sides are still in decent shape. The pictures speak for themselves. The underside is just as clean and original as the rest of the truck. To find a clean unrestored truck like this is very rare.

Over all this is a very nice original truck and anyone lucky enough to own this one of a kind will not be dissapointed. Please feel free to email me with any questions that you may have or just come by and take it for a drive in person. I encourage and welcome an inspection of the truck in person or third party or mechanic. All sales are final and because of the trucks age it will be sold AS IS. A $500 nonrefundable deposit is due within 24 hours after auction ends unless other arrangements are made with us.

GM opens military discount to 21M veterans and their spouses

May marks the start of National Military Appreciation Month, and General Motors is getting into the spirit by expanding its military discount program to, well, just about everyone. That includes a total of 21 million military veterans and their spouses, along with the current slate of active duty, reserve, and National Guard members. The discount can slash thousands of dollars off the price of a new Buick, Chevrolet, or GMC vehicles, with Automotive News listing an $1,100 discount on the top gas-powered version of the Malibu, the Premiere. Those that want a bit more spice can get $1,700 off the price of a last-generation 2015 Camaro SS, while truck buyers will enjoy $3,000 off the Chevy Silverado All Star. That's just a start, though, since the military discount can be paired with other GM incentives. The discount doesn't apply to everything, though. Some are understandable – none of Cadillac's vehicles are included in the deal, nor is the Corvette Z06. You'll also be unable to apply the discount to a range of base-level trims, like the Chevy Cruze or Equinox L, the base Colorado, or the entry level GMC Acadia, Canyon, and Terrain. Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors

As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize.
