This is my other car I am selling to thin out the heard. It's a 1972 Chevy Nova that I've owned for 13+ years and it has been a joy to own and drive.Car runs great and handles excellent. Custom bodywork and paint done by the legendary Sam Foose and rubbed out by Jake of the Overhaulin' Show. Paint is 6.5 years old and looks like it was painted yesterday. There is ZERO rust anywhere on this car. The engine is a 383 Stroker with a Turbo 400 transmission that was just serviced. Lots of power yet very streetable and sounds great. This is one of my cars that I drive everywhere with no fear. Other features of the car are custom bucket seats up front and a custom rear bench seat made to fit around the roll bars.The roll bar up front was custom done to make it easier to get in and out of the car.Interior includes sound absorbing material throughout and with brand new black carpet. There is a custom made console that Sam Foose also made to fit the B&M shifter with a line lock button in the handle. 12 Bolt posi rear with 3:90 gears. New aluminum radiator with electric fan and K&N air filter. Engine was built for Nitrous but I've never run it in the 13+ years I've owned it. Tank and plumbing are there. Power steering with upgraded SSBC disc's brakes up front and drums in the rear make this car stop on a dime. New wheels and tires. 225/50/17 Nexen tires on 8x17 Chrome American Racing Wheels on all four corners. Front sway bar and frame connectors help to keep you on the road. Hooker Super Comp Jet Hot ceramic coated headers, front lower air deflector, radiator brace fillers and a drive shaft loop round out this beauty. Glove box has a hand drawn picture by Chip Foose and the autographs of both Chip and his infamous dad, Sam Foose on it. Look at the pictures and you can see the reflection of the trees and background with great detail. If you are looking for a car to work on, keep looking. Hurst Edition Trans Am proves the Screaming Chicken will rise from the ashes

Ever since Chevrolet was granted a retrofied Camaro to compete with the Ford Mustang, Pontiac lovers have lamented the loss of this 1970s icon. And, looking at the Hurst Edition from Trans Am Depot, shown here at the 2012 SEMA Show, may explain what all the fuss is about.
It's not going to appeal to everyone's muscle-car tastes, but there's certainly room for a brash-and-bold black-and-gold Special Edition in many a Trans Am lover's garage. After all, if you want the keys to a custom pony car, you'll certainly get noticed in this one. If this scheme isn't your bag,, you can alternatively order your Hurst Edition in white and gold or silver and black. Oh, and don't forget a color-coordinated Screaming Chicken on the hood.
No matter which way you choose to go, your inner Burt Reynolds will appreciate the Eibach suspension kit, forged wheels with Pirelli PZero tires, functional shaker hood, fender air extractors, rear spoiler and, of course, a Hurst shifter inside. GM takes 2020 full-size pickup sales crown
Thu, Jan 7 2021It's no secret that 2020 was an unconventional year for auto sales. Extenuating circumstances or not, it was a year of upheaval even for ever-resilient (and ever-profitable) pickups, with General Motors taking the crown from Ford in the full-size segment. The Ford F-Series still outsold every other full-size pickup nameplate in the country by a significant margin. It's only when you combine GM's Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra variants that you get a number that exceeds Ford's. This isn't really a new phenomenon, either. In fact, it was only somewhat recently that Ford took the overall full-size crown away from GM, and not only did Ford widen the gap in recent years, but Ram has once again become a legitimate challenger, even managing to outsell the Silverado by a healthy margin in 2019, but never coming close to the F-Series in terms of total volume. But, 2020 being 2020, things got weird yet again. Ram remains relevant, of course, but Ford got caught with its pants down thanks to the one-two punch of COVID and the generational changeover of the core F-150 model, which resulted in a production interruption as the company's assembly facilities transitioned from building the old 2020 model to the new-for-2021. This perfect storm, as it turns out, was sufficient for GM to walk away with the full-size crown. See for yourself: Full-size 2020 pickup sales: GM total: 847,110 F-Series: 787,422 Silverado: 594,094 Ram: 563,676 Sierra: 253,016 Tundra: 109,203 Titan: 26,439 As you can see, Ram slipped back behind Silverado, slotting comfortably into third place. The Silverado 1500 had a flat year, but the heavy- and medium-duty variants bucked the trend and contributed to a slight uptick in sales for the nameplate, while F-Series tumbled more than 12% (nearly 110,000 units), opening the door for GM to steam ahead. There were similarly significant shakeups in the midsize truck segment. First, 2020 was the first full year of retail sales for the Gladiator pickup, which surged to fourth place behind the stalwart Tacoma, Ranger and Colorado. GM's combined sales of the Colorado and Canyon are good enough for second place by manufacturer, but nowhere close to what it would take to dethrone Toyota.
