For your consideration is my Monte Carlo that is in excellent condition, inside and out. Two owners, first my sister, then myself. Always garage kept, never smoked in. Back seats have never been sat in. The finish outside still looks new, and is original, and the interior, leather, and carpet is perfect as well. This car was babied. Back seats fold down to load skis, or long items when necessary.
Original sticker price, shown in photo with all options, is $21,019.00. Please review all of the options which are many.
My sister drove the car for the first 80,000 miles, and I have driven the remainder since 9/9/2003, which is is 36,000 miles, or about 3,600 miles a year, since I am retired. Of course the car was always well maintained, and even the passenger seat is rarely used. The car rides smooth, and quiet. Steering is right on. Don't let the miles scare you, my neighbors Chevy just turned over 200,000 with only problems with the starter. (Because he bought refurbished starters).
The moon roof has two functions, one to flip up in the back as a vent, or to completely slide away under the car roof. Unfortunately, it doesn't slide back, may need a belt replacement, or track adjustment, but the lift function is fine. Air conditioning can be cooler, probably needs a can of coolant. Gas gauge is not accurate.
I have recently added new tires, (2 Michelins) a new battery, and has an aftermarket security system. However, this aftermarket security may need some attention, batteries in the keychain, etc. the Chevy security system built into the key, and ignition is fine. Frankly I haven't used it in years.

Texas sues GM, saying it tricked customers into sharing driving data sold to insurers
Wed, Aug 14 2024Texas filed a lawsuit Tuesday against GM over years of alleged abuse of customers' data and trust. New car owners were presented with a "confusing and highly misleading" process that was implied to be for their safety, but "was no more than a deceptively designed sales flow" that surrendered their data for GM to sell. The suit contends that at no point was selling driving data ever even suggested as a possibility, putting GM in violation of the state's consumer protection laws. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is seeking a jury trial and at least $10,000 per offense (every GM car sold in the state since 2015) and a hefty add-on of $250,000 in cases where the victim was over 65. Texas seems to be flying high after a recent $1.4 billion settlement from Meta over other privacy concerns. This may well be a way to solve any pending budgetary issues in the Lone Star State.

Drivers buy new $300K McLaren 720S, 2019 Chevy Corvette, and wreck 'em
Tue, Jul 17 2018Two high-powered, high-priced sports cars, wrecked in their infancies. No doubt they were fun while they lasted. In Great Falls, Va., a tony suburb of Washington, D.C., that hugs the Potomac River, someone was out enjoying driving the McLaren 720S they had purchased only the day before on a leafy, two-lane road. Then, horror: In an instant, the car hit a tree, mangled and destroyed "because of speed," according to the Fairfax County Police Department. Purchased Friday. Totaled Saturday. This McLaren 720S, costing around $300,000, was destroyed today in Great Falls because of speed. The driver was taken to the hospital with thankfully only non-life threatening injuries. A reminder to slow down, or it could cost you. pic.twitter.com/XhC3LKRY1t — Fairfax County Police (@FairfaxCountyPD) July 14, 2018 Then on salvage auction site Copart, a brand-new orange 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport lies in a warehouse in Lincoln, Neb., its front left corner crushed, wheel askew. It had just 15 miles on the odometer. We know nothing of the backstory, except for the obvious front-end damage and secondary damage to the undercarriage. The rear end and 6.2-liter V8 engine, which makes 460 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, look OK. The most current bid as this was published was just north of $9,000. It's tempting in both cases to assign the blame to over-eager drivers who weren't quite yet able to corral all that power. In the case of the McLaren, the supercar makes 710 horsepower and 568 pound-feet of torque from its quad-cam, twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8. It goes from 0-62 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds and boasts a top speed of 212 mph. We're not saying the unidentified driver was a newbie, but this car is definitely not for newbies. Police write that the incident is "A reminder to slow down, or it could cost you." As in, $300,000. Or at least the depreciation for driving it off the lot. Related Video:
