This is a project that I intended to finish, but life happens along the way.  After two children and seven years, I must sell.  I've been an auto technician for 18 years and have poured my knowledge into this beauty.  Since I've had it, I have completely dismantled the car, put in all new suspension bushings, springs, body bushings, all new wearable chassis components, rebuilt the transmission (crate 350 motor with an Edelbrock with aluminum intake, 373 posi rear and G-force double hump cross member.  The interior has later model Monte Carlo reupholstered seating and a Grand National steering wheel. All of the glass is clean except for the windshield. 75% of the car is intact.  I have most of the parts.  It is not been started yet. Private message for questions.  Would have to be picked up. It is not in running order. I purchased the vehicle from the owner who had it since 1984 (family pictures were in the trunk to verify).  The car is located in a garage in Towson, Maryland.  It would have to be local pick-up only, and towed.  Cash only.

This was supposed to be my last project.  Due to circumstances beyond my control, I must part with it.  I hope it can find a good new home.

Chevy Bolt wins 2017 Green Car of the Year

We knew that a plug-in vehicle was going to win the 2017 Green Car of the Year award this year, given that all five finalists have a way to charge up. And when Ron Cogan, the editor and publisher of Green Car Journal, announced the winner – the 2017 Chevy Bolt EV – he said that the car itself represents one of those times in the auto industry when everything is about to change. Similar to the invention of the starter motor, things are about to get different. For now, though, the fact that the Bolt EV won an award sounds like the same old thing all over again. Just this week, it was named Motor Trends Car of the Year and to the Car And Driver Top 10 list. The other four finalists for Green Car of the Year included the Toyota Prius Prime, the Chrysler Pacifica, the Kia Optima (including hybrid and plug-in hybrid models) and the BMW 330e iPerformance. The 2016 Detroit Auto Show will kick off with the announcement of the annual North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and the three finalists in each category have just been revealed. Following this announcement, the jury – which includes Autoblog editor-in-chief Mike Austin – will re-evaluate each candidate before casting a final vote for the winner.
