scroll down to view over 50 photos of this cool old van!!

Here is the classic/vintage van everyone is looking for!  You hardly ever see these any more... especially a GMC Handivan, there simply are very few of these left anywhere.
This is a very cool and rare vehicle.  This one is a good running "turn key" daily driver that is ready to go right now.  Jump in and drive it.

'67 GMC 'Handivan', short wheelbase, panel van, no side windows.  Pretty much all stock, an original west coast survivor.  Even has original factory build sheet in it!
I love this old van, but I simply have too many vehicles and I need to 'thin the herd' a bit.  I really hope this van will go to a new owner who will truly love and appreciate it.
It sure is a neat old rig and has alot of soul.

The van is in overall good condition body with no major damage and no rusted out areas.  Its basically a 'clean slate' early chevy/gmc van for whatever you want to do.
Factory west coast mirrors.  Two tone silver & blue paint is well worn, old & faded with plenty of 'patina', but still very presentable with a few spots of primer here & there.
Has some filler here and there, and its share of blemishes, etc. that add plenty of character to this old van.  Please scroll down and view all the detailed pics!
Restore as you drive it, or simply enjoy it as is.  Its a great old hot rod truck as is.  Its definitely got that vintage old school vibe that everyone loves.

This van features a Chevrolet 250 inline "straight six" engine from a mid 70's chevy truck.  I recently restored/overhauled the engine.
It has all new rod/main bearings with new oil pump and fresh gaskets throughout.
Has small chamber cylinder head from a 194 from a '64 chevy van to increase compression a bit (bumped it up to about 9:1 compression ratio) for a nice little performance gain.
Rochester carburetor with automatic choke.   Has a upgraded GM coil-in-cap HEI high energy electronic ignition with new plugs, wires, cap, rotor.  Reliable & starts every time.
Runs good with strong oil pressure. Very clean engine, does not burn or leak oil.  Radiator is in good condition with new hoses, factory belly pan in place, runs nice and cool, does not overheat. Aftermarket oil pressure/ water temp gauges are mounted under the dash to keep an eye on the engine vital signs.

Brand new clutch was installed with the engine.  3 speed saginaw fully synchro'd transmission with factory "3 on the tree" column shift.
Transmission shifts smoothly in all gears as it should.  The 3 on the tree is alot of fun, and easy to drive!

Factory 12 bolt rear axle was an original heavy duty GMC option, along with factory heavy rear springs to give it that 'just right' hot rod stance.  Recent brake job.  Brakes work good.

Vintage Cragar S/S chrome mag wheels with fat B.F.Goodrich radial T/A tires complete the perfect hot rod old school custom van look.
Big & wide 305/50r15 radial T/A H50 in the back on 15x10 wheels. Fronts are 245/60r15 on 15x8 rims.
Front tires have lots of tread, rear tires are getting worn down a bit more from burnouts/etc., but still have quite a bit of tread remaining.

This van is reliable and runs & drives great!  Lights, signals, hazards, brakes, horn, wipers, heat/defrost all work.
Interstate battery and I upgraded the charging system with a GM 12si internally regulated high output alternator.
The 12si alternator is a nice upgrade, ready to run any additional lights, stereo equipment or whatever you want with plenty of juice for accessories.

Factory original low-back bucket seats are in place, but the factory upholstery was looking bad, so they have some black seat covers over them.
Original dash pad is still in great condition, as are the defrost vents and the dash!

This van is ready for you to use as a daily driver "cool beater" or hit the road for that big camping road trip adventure!
Jump in and use as is for the coolest shop truck around, rat rod parts chaser.
Make it your own, surfer van, hot rod, rat rod, jalopy, custom 60's-70's van, or stock resto...  restore it as you drive it.
This van is a clean slate ready for action, or ready to build into whatever you can dream.

Clear WA state title in hand.

This is a sweet old van, and it has been well cared for.  I've put a considerable amount of love, time and effort into it, but please don't come to pick it up expecting it to be 100% perfect like a new car, or something in perfect show condition.  This is a unrestored vintage vehicle and has its share of imperfections, etc. typical what you would expect for a 47 year old truck.  I have tried my best to describe this van as best I can, but it would be impossible for me to describe every last flaw and minor imperfection that is present.  Please be realistic.  It does have some typical minor issues for a vehicle this old, such as windshield has a crack over by the passenger side.  Radio doesn't work.  Back-up lights need to be hooked up.  Dash has a few non-stock holes drilled in it by previous owners for switches, etc.  Do not have a key for exterior door locks.  The roof had a square vent at one time, but it has been patched with a chunk from a roof welded in from another '67 van.  Please see all the pictures for details.   A few extra holes in the rear bumper.  etc.  etc. etc.  as long as you know its not a 100 point concours 'show van', then you are welcome to bid.  If you have any specific questions, please do not hesitate to ask!  Overall, it is a badass great old van that runs and drives well.  People love this thing, and it always gets alot of positive attention wherever I take it.  Gets smiles, waves, and thumbs up from all kinds of people.  Its ready for the next adventure.

I am available to show personally this van to anyone and you can test drive it too, just send me a message with your phone number.  This van is being advertised for sale locally as well, so I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells locally.

BUY WITH CONFIDENCE!  I am a veteran Ebay seller.  I have been selling on ebay since 2001.  I have sold many cars, trucks and motorcycles on here to places all around the globe.  I will sell this van to anyone, anywhere in the world.  I have sold cars to overseas buyers before, the furthest buyer so far was in Norway.

BID TO WIN!  Serious bids only.  Please, bid only if you have the money to buy.  Ebay is not a game.  The winning bidder at auctions end enters into a fully binding and legal contract to purchase this van for the final bid price.  Ask all questions BEFORE you bid.  Make sure you have the money to buy this van BEFORE you bid! Winning the auction means you buy this van...  it does not mean you come look at it and then decide if you are going to buy it or not.  You win the auction, you buy the van at the final bid price.  That is how this works.  NO DEADBEATS!  $500 non-refundable paypal deposit required within 24 hours of auction's close.  The rest of the $ must be paid via cashier's check or money order within 7 days of the end of auction.  Payment in full must be received no later than 7 days of the end of the auction.  After the van is fully paid for, you can pick it up or arrange for shipping at your convenience.  The van must be picked up no later than 30 days after the end of the auction.  It is the buyer's responsibility to pay any and all shipping costs and fees.  If you cannot comply with any of the above terms of this auction, please do not bid.

GM Recalling 370,000 Trucks For Fire Risk

Mon, Jan 13 2014

DETROIT (AP) - General Motors is recalling 370,000 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickups from the 2014 model year to fix software that could cause the exhaust components to overheat and start a fire. The recall includes 303,000 trucks in the U.S. and 67,000 in Canada and Mexico. All of the trucks involved have 4.3-liter or 5.3-liter engines. GM said eight fires have been reported, but no injuries. One garage was damaged, the company said. All of the incidents occurred in cold weather. The company is asking customers not to leave their trucks idling unattended. GM dealers will reprogram the software for free. The company will inform owners starting Jan. 16. The major recall announcement, which came on Saturday, marred the Silverado's winning of the 2014 North American Truck of the Year Award at the Detroit Auto Show on Monday. 2016 Chevy Volt sneak peek at CES

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Here it is, folks – your first real glimpse at the 2016 Chevrolet Volt. The gasoline-electric sedan will officially debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week, but Chevy gave us a sneak peek of its redesigned Volt at a media event in Las Vegas late Sunday, as part of its CES festivities. There isn't a ton to see here, and sorry about the low quality video (and for us not standing front and center during the reveal). But we can clearly see the car's redesigned front fascia – something recently previewed at a fan event in Los Angeles. For another view, check out a high-res photo of the new Volt from our friends at The Verge, here. Chevy even tweeted a photo of the Volt's new nose on its official Volt Twitter account, which you can see below. The automaker didn't divulge any details about its new Volt, but we already know quite a bit. For starters, the Volt will use a new, 1.5-liter gasoline engine and won't require premium fuel. It'll have more EV range and a bigger battery, too. We'll have a whole mess of information when the 2016 Volt is fully revealed in Detroit in about one week's time. In the meantime, here are some more looks at the Volt, courtesy of the Twitterverse. We're so excited about #NextGenVolt we brought it out early at #CES2015! NHTSA investigating nearly 750,000 GM models over non-deploying airbags

Thu, Apr 15 2021

Nearly 750,000 vehicles built by Chevrolet, GMC, and Cadillac are the subject of a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) investigation due to non-deploying driver-side airbags. While the investigation is ongoing, the agency believes the issue is likely due to rust particles that form on the inflator's connection terminal interface. The list of nameplates included in the investigation includes Chevrolet's Silverado, Tahoe, and Suburban, GMC's Sierra, Yukon, and Yukon XL, plus Cadillac's Escalade, Escalade ESV, CT4, CT5, and XT4. All of the potentially affected vehicles are 2020 or 2021 models, according to a bulletin published on the NHTSA's website. Investigators launched the probe in April 2021 after 15 consumers reported airbag-related issues, including nine who said an airbag malfunction light appeared in the instrument cluster. More alarmingly, the NHTSA is aware of six accidents that caused significant damage to the car's front end yet didn't trigger the driver's airbag. It adds that there are no fatalities linked to the issue, but there are six crashes and eight injuries reportedly blamed on it. No evidence suggests this problem is related to the millions of potentially deadly Takata inflators recalled over the past few years. General Motors is aware of the defect. It sent a technical service bulletin (TSB) to its dealers in March 2021 to address the aforementioned warning light. The note explains the issue is due to "rust particles in the connection terminal interface of the driver's airbag inflator." The company hasn't issued a safety recall yet, however. Whether it will partially depends on the NHTSA's findings. It's currently looking into the scope and the severity of the problem, and it wants to understand its implications on driver safety. Investigators will decide whether General Motors needs to recall the 749,312 cars that are part of the probe when they close their investigation. General Motors has already spent a significant amount of money replacing defective airbag-related parts in its cars. In November 2020, it was ordered by the American government to recall nearly 6 million pickup trucks and SUVs equipped with potentially dangerous Takata airbag inflators. It repeatedly argued that testing proved the inflators were safe, and it petitioned the agency four times starting in 2016 to avoid a recall, which cost an estimated $1.2 billion (about a third of its net income in 2020).
