Available for sale is this extremely nice 1970 Chevrolet El Camino. This El Camino is well documented and is a super solid southern example of a neat old cruiser. This El Camino is very nice, inside, outside and underneath. The engine compartment is very neat and tidy, and the underside remains very much original. Many of the suspension components have been recently replaced, and the front brakes were converted to discs. Some of the options include:
Another neat attribute of this El Camino is the documentation that is included with the car. The build sheet is in tact, and the ownership is documented with copies of titles indicating the 2 prior owners being located in Texas. The car then relocated to Florida. The Protect-O-Plate is also included with the documentation. You just don't find vehicles with this sort of documentation very often. This El Camino is very eye catching. The bright red paint combined with the black SS style stripes on the hood, as well as the black vinyl top all create a nice combination. The 17'' American Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in Z rated rubber really give this this El Camino a look like no other. The original wheels and deluxe wheel covers are included. Sure to be a hit at your local cruise-in or car show. The interior is in great shape as well. The spare tire area is very neat and tidy, as is the rest of the interior. This car runs and drives very well. The durable numbers matching 350ci small block under the hood runs like a top, the column shift automatic transmission functions as it should, and the brakes stop on a dime. If you've been looking for an El Camino, this is one you really need to take a closer look at. This car is the complete package: well documented, super neat and tidy, and a solid strong running, great looking piece. The show season is quickly approaching, why not show up with something new? 2015 Chevrolet Colorado GearOn Edition is ready to do that outdoorsy thing
Fri, Feb 13 2015Bikes, skis, kayaks... the Chevrolet Colorado GearOn is ready to accommodate all of them, thanks to a trip to the Bowtie's accessories catalog. The special edition Colorado features the basics of Chevy's GearOn accessories, including a bars package, bed divider and tie-down rings, which can be supplemented with other accessories to haul all manner of outdoor equipment. Beyond that, though, Chevy has fitted a few other items to lift up the Colorado's styling, including gloss-black 18-inch wheels, black Bowtie emblems, a body-color grille, off-road assist steps and front foglights. What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
2015 Chevy Silverado Custom Sport is subtle in black
Mon, Jan 12 2015In a world where trucks are growing bigger, bolder grilles and more muscle-bound looks, Chevrolet is trying something a bit different with its recently revealed Custom Sport edition for the 2015 Silverado at the this year's Detroit Auto Show. The edition leans on being understated, instead of screaming about its abilities. The design is supposed to be a throwback to the Chevy Custom Sport Trucks of the late '60s that brought a touch of elegance to these usually utilitarian vehicles at the time. The heart of the package is its monochromatic body-color touches for the bumpers and grille surround. The one on display at the show is especially attractive with a chrome-accented black grille that fits perfectly with the rest of the body. The edition does get a bit more shine with chrome covering the 20-inch wheels, door handles, mirror caps and side moldings. In addition, buyers get projector beam headlights, tow hooks and heated power mirrors. The custom package is available on the LT trim in black or white and on the LTZ in black or White Diamond Tricoat. The Custom Sport package features body-colored front and rear bumpers and a body-colored grille surround with a chrome-accented black grille. Other accents include 20-inch chrome wheels, chrome door handles and mirror caps, and chrome body-side moldings.
