1966 el camino 327 with alum intake 650 edelbrock carb headers small cam motor is bored out.40 over this motor has less than 5000 miles on it. lot,s of chrome on motor. automatic in floor with b/m shifter posi rear end has a custom locking fiberglass bed cover. the glass is all good no cracks. the heater doesn,t work cause there is a leak in heater core. the paint is real good, color is electric green with a bluish green painted on flame. tear drop hood scoop with greeh lights in scoop . looks like a pair of green eyes. also in the exhaust tips is green lights and a flame thrower [but it is not hooked up] is has shaved door handles and a shaved gas tank lid. in the last 2 years I,ve enter it in 7 shows and took 3 first placed and 4 second place trophy,s. this car is very very fast sounds great drive ,s very smooth . it has power steering and power brakes.really nice 15" wheels and good tires I drive this car every weekend and to cruise in. it get LOT,S of thumbs up boy does it get attention the interior is all custom and in good shape except for a small rip in the upper driver seat it can be fixed made out of cloth, inside of cab all matches.I really hate to get rid of this car BUT with Christmas and this new insurance we have to buy [thanks to our government] it has air shocks and a chrome rear end cover and custom lighted exhaust tips. you can call me or email me.at 731 642 4543, and I will answer any questions. Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
Jay Leno drives Joe Rogan's '65 Chevy Corvette restomod
Tue, Sep 1 2015Restomod classics often look great rolling down the road, but they can be an absolute mess underneath. That's the problem comedian Joe Rogan discovered after purchasing his 1965 Corvette convertible that was already extensively modified. Once work began to improve it further, some serious issues were discovered. Now, Rogan's rejuvenated 'Vette has received a thorough update on the latest, extra-long edition of Jay Leno's Garage. Rogan's additional upgrades include a new interior and adding nacelles behind the seats. Power is up thanks to a supercharger for the LS1 V8. Now only do you get to hear the engine roar, but Leno and Rogan also take the convertible for a long ride in the Los Angeles hills. They reminisce about liking cars as kids, the current state of General Motors, and Rogan's work with the UFC. Leno also shares a funny story about a confusing discussion with Marlon Brando. With the beautiful 'Vette and the great conversation, there's a lot here to like. Related Video:
