Real deal, true SS 396 All numbers matching survivor. Barrett Jackson quality muscle car in prestine condition. Real head turner. All original, fully documented, including manufactures statement of origin, original order form, sales receipt, build sheet etc., even have the original title. Bought from the original owner, have owned car since 1996. First time being offered to the public. Car was professionally restored in the mid 90's. Original engine, trans, rear end were rebuilt as well as front end. Approx 5k miles on car since restoration. I call it a survivor because it's never been frame off or anything because it's never needed to be, it's always been a nice car. Very detailed original restoration, GM hoses, original hose clamps, battery cables etc. Manifolds were coated by Performance Coatings so as not to rust and painted cast gray to maintain the original appearance. Even has the original Quadrajet carburetor. New A/C compressor, I have the original compressor that comes with the car. No rust, never any accidents. Paint is like a mirror, cranberry red. Has won numerous car shows. Interior is immaculate. Found a new old stock dash bezel (not aftermarket) still in GM box along with n.o.s. GM dash vents and installed. Even the clock works. Original backseat, took it out and found the original build sheet where it had been waiting for over 40 years. Even has the original floormats. Runs and drives like new, very strong. There is nothing like true american big block muscle. This thing drives itself, very steady on the road, you can feel the weight of the pure american steel. There's a lot of fakes, clones and number stamping crooks out there, this car is a bonafide thoroughbred. Will sign a statement guaranteeing the validity of the numbers. No excuses or disappointments with this true classic.

Chevy Trax engineer says GMC version possible
Mon, Dec 8 2014The Buick Encore is doing so well and its platform-mate the Chevrolet Trax has such good reviewer vibes going for it already, that a GMC version hasn't been ruled out. During the recent press launch, Automotive News asked lead engineer Al Manzor if the Trax could wear a GMC-branded suit, to which Manzor replied, "I think that is certainly possible." That's a long way from telling us anything about the probability of a GMC version of the Trax, and a legion of questions would need to be answered before it could happen. How would a GMC version be priced to leave room for the $26,465 GMC Terrain but not eat into sales of the $20,995 Trax or the $24,035 Encore? Or would that matter? Could it primarily be considered to encourage a new faction of The Yukon Set at the compact end, GMC buyers being famously committed to the marque? And of course, would there be a Denali version? It'll probably be a long while before we have any kind of answers, but if you want to see it happen, the door to your campaign of persuasion is at least ajar.

Mon, Feb 2 2015Chevrolet took an early lead for the 2015 Super Bowl advertising crown with its spot for the all-new, 4G LTE-capable Colorado pickup in a spot that simulated a problem with your TV. The stark, simple ad then states that if you're lucky enough to have an Internet-capable vehicle, like the new Colorado, you'd at least be able to stream the game.
