I parked this vehicle 09 and it has been in storage since it was running driving car when i parked the car. I started car once month and drove it around block. Year ago started runnig week and stalling finally stopped running an would not start at all
3month ago i put a new battery, distributor and plugs and tried to get it started but it would only start if you spray starting fluid in intake so found out it is a fuel issue. I took car to a mechanic following was done new Boch fuel pump and pressure regulator 6 injectors were cleaned two were replaced. New Tokico HP shocks and,window motors were also installed. I got car back to my house and it was running and driving good for few days and then started running weak and started stalling when i tried to step on gas and now it will fire just for second and stall. There is a fuel issue again and remaining 6 injectors need to be replaced I do not have garage any more and do not wanna keep this car outside because florida sun and moist air will just further deteriorate car and i will not have budget or time for it for few more years so as much as i hate to sell it smart thing would be to pass it on to somebody who is willing to invest some time and money on it. Hard sell i just spend 1600$ on this car on parts and repairs. Ac works ,transmission shifts good,steering is tight no accidents . Car is original except flow master exhaust and hood ( hood was damaged i bumped into somebody at traffic light there was no other damage and the only damage was on my vehicle ) Trunk motor is broken,no original stereo,few tiny dings and dents and paint starts peeling on some places on spoilers. Tires are shot .Interior is good driver side seat is worn at edge as you see on pictures dash has cracks,odometer is broken and can not verify mileage but i can say it probably has 160 000 title states miles unknown. I have lights in front spoiler and wheel covers what you see missing in picks. I also have new rubber seals for doors and shop manual with all records and receipts on all repairs on this car from its first owner til today. I do not accept money orders checks payment needs to be wire transfer paypal or cash in person ( buyer will pay papal fees) 500 $ deposit in 48 hr after auction end. and full payment in 7 days . Watch the National Corvette Museum sinkhole being filled in by R/C cars
Sun, Jan 11 2015Okay, so not exactly cars, but Bobcats - but still quite cool. You might remember that the National Corvette Museum had that little divot that needed to be filled in. Turns out the construction firm of Scott, Murphy & Daniel doing the work is using two remote-controlled Bobcats to fill the sinkhole with "manufactured sand," which in this case is crushed limestone. It appears that the Bobcat company has offered remote operation since at least 2007 via a wireless transmitter that works up to 1,500 feet away. So yes, that means two SMD employees stand on the edge of the pit and flick joystick levers for hours at a time, one in charge of a Bobcat with a roller-compactor attachment, the other in charge of a Bobcat with a bucket. And that, to us, is a pretty good way to earn the daily bread. Check out the video above for the latest sinkhole update.
