This is a one owner 1968 327 Camaro. I have the original sales contract. The odometer says 57XXX miles and the original owner says it's accurate but I can't prove the mileage. She a little older and really isn't sure.
Inspect the car to make your own decision. It is not a show car but it is very nice. More than just a driver. California car for it's whole life so it is rust free.. The matching number engine may have had a valve job sometime in the recent past, and it runs great. New radiator and hoses. Two barrel carb offers reasonable gas mileage. The only "high" performance modifications are a new set of Flow Masters and 2" pipes. It has power steering but no power brakes. The American Wheels "torque Thrusters with BFG Radial TAs are brand new. The original 14" wheels, tires and hubcaps are included. It has been repainted (2008?) the original color and looks great. I believe the paint was performed after the left rear quarter panel was replaced. Touch up paint is included. The chrome look great for its age.The radio was replaced but the original radio (with face plate and knobs) is included with purchase. Comes with black and yellow (original ) plate and the original owners manual. I am not a classic car appraiser or even a Camaro guy but I would rate the original interior as an 8 (one seem is separating 1.5") and the overall condition of this rust free car about 8-9. Original carpet throughout. The dash is like new. Please call or email with questions. Henry 760-415-3064 NADA Values MSRP Low Retail Average Retail High Retail

Updated Chevy Silverado spied, possibly with aluminum components
Sat, Apr 11 2015Chevrolet is readying a refresh for its trusty Silverado pickup, and these spy shots give us our first glimpse at what might be in store. The front and rear fascias of this prototype are covered, obscuring some styling tweaks (with LED accents up front). More interestingly, our spies suggest that many of the Silverado's body components could move to aluminum with this mid-cycle update. The hood will go from steel to the lighter alloy, and it's possible the front fenders could benefit from the weight-saving material, too. Ford's latest F-150 is extremely aluminum-intensive, and by switching the construction, 700 pounds was trimmed off the truck's weight. We've already heard that General Motors is working with a similar plan for its next-generation fullsize trucks. Beyond that, expect the smaller 5.3-liter V8 to ditch its six-speed automatic transmission in favor of the eight-speed unit that's already mated to the larger, 6.2-liter V8. Neither transmission will stick around very long, as the trucks will likely adopt a 10-speed automatic around 2017. Look for the updated Silverado to debut later this year, likely as a 2016.5 model.
Conquest and controversy conclude the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona [spoilers]
Sun, 26 Jan 2014If you don't wish to know who won the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona, you should avert your eyes right now. We'll even give you a double-space to skedaddle...
For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher.
The Prototype Challenge class win went to the No. 54 CORE Autosport team of Colin Braun, Jon Bennett, Mark Wilkins and James Gue.
Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
The overall top 10 models for the best resale value in 2013 are, in alphabetical order:
