THIS 1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO SS HAS UNDERGONE A COMPLETE FRAME-OFF RESTORATION. IT IS A VERY NICE CAR FOR ANYONE TO ENJOY WITHOUT SPENDING $50 OR 60 GRAND TO GET A CAR THAT LOOKS AND PERFORMS AS THIS ONE DOES. TO BE CLEAR, THIS IS A BIG BLOCK BUT DOES NOT HAVE A NUMBER MATCHING MOTOR. THE CAR WAS A EARLY PRODUCTION WITH NO X CODE. THE CAR WAS BUILT IN NORWOOD, OHIO. THIS CAR IS NICE INSIDE, OUT, AND UNDERNEATH. IT WAS FULLY RESTORED SUMMER OF 2012. BASICALLY EVERYTHING ON THE CAR IS EITHER NEW OR REBUILT. THE PAINT COLOR IS TUXEDO BLACK WITH WHITE RACING STRIPES AND BLACK AND WHITE HOUNDS TOOTH INTERIOR. THE COLOR COMBO IS STUNNING. THE CAR HAS A QUALITY PAINT JOB ON IT AND IS STRAIGHT DOWN THE SIDES. 2016 Chevy Equinox brings its revised face to Chicago
Thu, Feb 12 2015It's vital these days for automakers to keep up with the Jones' when in the crossover market. The segment is just too popular among buyers to let a vehicle waste away, and Chevrolet is giving the 2016 Equinox a slight refresh at the Chicago Auto Show to hopefully keep people interested. In reality, though, the CUV isn't too much different beyond a tweaked face and some interior improvements. The exterior now boasts a revised front fascia with a chrome-accented grille and projector beam headlights, and at the rear there are new taillights. Top -evel models get LED running lights, as well. Inside, the Equinox features a standard seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a backup cam, and for added safety, the CUV is now available with rear cross traffic and blade zone alert on some trims. Beyond these updates, the powertrains carry over entirely from before with the choice between a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 3.6-liter V6. These refreshed 2016 models go on sale this fall. UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
