Hello Thanks for viewing my listing. This has been an amazing Truck. I am selling it because I have to. This has been my work truck, commuting truck, hauling truck, etc. It does it all and comfortable at the same time. It gets 16 plus miles average highway and city.
I purchased this new (actually bought it here on eBay) in mid 2008. It rides just about as good as it did when it was new. (Smooth and strong) I drive an 160 miles 6 days a week in my commute. I have stacked up the highway miles on this one. The pictures tell the whole story. It has been very well maintained. Oil changes, brakes, tires etc. It was in a small fender bender a few yrs back. A lady hit me in a parking lot and the passenger side fender was replaced. Also a branch dented the tailgate in a storm one evening. I have a new tailgate coming out of the paint shop this week. Both tailgates will go to the new owner.
My only complaint with this truck was the exhaust and the EGR system kept clogging and leaving me stranded on the highway. So about a year ago, I changed all of the Exhaust and EGR system to aftermarket items. Other than that it is all stock. There has been no modifications to the computer programing to increase horse power or anything such as that. I have all of the old exhaust and EGR components and will give to the new owner if they choose. The tires have about 60-70% life on them. They are the heavy E rated hauling type. There is a fifth wheel rack that comes with this truck. I have only used it once a few yrs ago. I got talked into picking up a fifth wheel for a relative. I was going to be 1/2 owner. That deal lasted a week LOL. I cant tell you how well it tows. I pulled that fifth wheel two miles and never hooked it up again. The interior is in amazing shape considering it such a light color. It cleans so easy. I was scared of the color when I got it but its been great. As you can see. Seriously no seat cover either.
The dvd players in the headrests do not produce a picture. They work but no picture. They both quit at the same time so I believe its the little brain box sitting under the console. My son got his tablet and since then that's all he wants to play with so I never had them checked or repaired. As you can see the paint is probably the worst cosmetic defect on this truck. The highway miles show with all of the tiny stone dings. It looks great going down the road but up close you can see them.

1983 Motorweek showdown pits Porsche 928S vs. Chevy Camaro Z28
Mon, Jan 12 2015Last month, Motor Trend threw the Camaro Z/28 and Porsche 911 GT3 into the bear pit and let them fight it out. Way back in 1983, MotorWeek had the same idea, comparing the Camaro Z/28 to the Porsche 928S. At the time, the Camaro was America's best selling sports coupe, the 928S was Porsche's top-of-the-line model that also had the highest top speed of any car sold here. And the price differential was even more stark then: $13,600 for the Camaro, $45,000 for the Porsche. That put the Z/28's cast-iron, 5.0-liter V8 with 190 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque against the all-aluminum 4.7-liter V8 with 234 hp and 263 lb-ft in the 928S. Even with that and the Camaro being 14 inches longer than the Porsche, the American was a surprising 40 pounds lighter than the German. The show took them to Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia to see how close a relative performance bargain could hang with a the German GT. Both had five-speed manual transmissions, but the high-speed corners and tight sections of Summit Point would test other handling variables, including the "bone-rattling" Camaro's solid rear axle and disc and drum brake setup vis-a-vis the four-wheel disc brakes and independent suspension on the "firm-but-smooth" Porsche. Paradoxically, the larger disparity 22 years ago resulted in a closer result. Check out the video to see how the Summit was won. GM forced to cut truck production amid semiconductor shortage
Thu, Jul 22 2021WASHINGTON — General Motors said Wednesday it will cut some truck production in North America because of the ongoing global semiconductor shortage. The largest U.S. automaker said its Flint Assembly plant that builds the Chevrolet Silverado HD and GMC Sierra HD trucks will operate on one production shift the week of July 26. GM said its Ft. Wayne Assembly plant in Indiana that builds the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 model trucks will be idled next week. GM's Silao Assembly plant in Mexico that also builds the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, Cheyenne (for the Mexico market) and GMC Sierra 1500 will also suspend production next week. All three plants are expected to resume regular production the week of August 2. Related video:
2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
