Hello, You are looking at a 1-Owner Fleet Maintained 1999 Chevrolet 3500 Bucket/Boom truck that has just been taken out of service by Verizon.  This truck is in overall very good condition for the age and mileage.  It has been well taken care of, works Very Good and is Ready to Go to Work Today!  It has a 7.4 V8 gas engine and 4 speed Automatic with Overdrive transmission.  Both work very well and just as they should.  It has 171,000 miles on it , it starts right up, runs smooth and shifts great and drives down the highway with No shimmy's, shakes or vibrations at all. It is in very nice condition for 15 yrs old and being a work truck.  I just had it fully serviced it, installed a New battery and it has a current PA state inspection on it and as far as I know, it needs nothing else that I am aware of.  It has the Telsta lift A28D.  28' lift, roughly 34' with an average man inside the bucket.  The lift and all controls work great and smooth.  It has two sets, one set of controls on the ground and the other inside the bucket.  It has a Onan 4500K generator that too starts and runs excellent with 3126 hours on the Gen & Lift.  It powers the several 110 outlets and 1 220 outlet on the body and an outlet in the bucket.  I also just serviced the Generator and again, it works great.  The fiberglass bucket is in real nice condition.  The cab and bed are in pretty nice condition for the age and mileage.  You can tell that it has been a Verizon truck at some point of its life as marks from the used stickers are visible.  The bed is in the same condition.  Overall pretty nice. It does show a few light spots of surface rust around the bottom of the bed edge that I have since touched up to prevent from getting any worse. It also has your typical light scratches and scuffs throughout but overall looks very good for the age and nothing major for a work truck.  All cabinet doors open and close just as they should. One cabinet door is missing a latch. It has plenty of shelving and storage inside.  6 very Nice LT225/70R19.5 tires all with roughly 3/4 tread remaining on them,  The cab interior is in fair condition   Seat has a large tear in the drivers area hence the tape shown in the picture.  NO A/C.  All door panels and dash look fair with minimal wear.  All gauges, lights, work just as they should also.  I wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive this truck just about anywhere.  It has been fully serviced and has a current PA state inspection on it until Nov 2013.  It Really does work Nice and looks Nice!   As always I have a Clean & Clear PA title in my hand ready to be transferred to the new owner.  Please don't hesitate to email or call with any questions you may have.  This is a Buy It Now or Make Offer auction so the truck will be SOLD before the end of the duration to the first Reasonable Offer I receive so ask questions and Make your Offer early with what you wanna pay because it will be SOLD!!  Please, only SERIOUS bidders/buyers only.  I have had way too many fake and bogus bidders in the past.  If you are not sure, then don't make an offer and take someone else's chances away who may have really wanted the truck.  I have several of these trucks available all in similar condition and similar models so if you aren't sure at this time, don't bid.  Also, these trucks are For Sale locally also so don't delay, it could sell.  I will honor all reasonable offers.  Good Luck and Happy Bidding!!  Please ask any and all questions you may have and I will be glad to do my best to answer and help you out.  Thanks for viewing. Please contact us immediately via phone or email with questions or too discuss a deposit method. We buy and resell these all the time, with great success, please bid confidently.

TRUCK IS LOCATED AND CAN BE VIEWED AT 4112 FOX LANE, HESSTON, PA 16647.

Chevy rolls out Silverado HD High Country

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

It's been a good week for heavy-duty truck buyers. First, Ram revealed the Black Package for its HD trucks, then it rolled out its new Power Wagon, and now Chevy's getting in on the action with its Silverado High Country HD. Okay, so it may not pack quite the attitude of Ram's latest 2500-series offerings, but the High Country HD will come as a welcome addition to the Chevy Trucks range to those looking to pull their horse, boat or other trailer without skimping on creature comforts.
Rolled out a little under a year ago, the High Country trim is Chevy's answer to the likes of the GMC Denali, Ford King Ranch and Ram Longhorn. It has until now only been offered on the light duty, 1500-series Silverado, but now extends to the 2500 and 3500-series HD models, as well.
So what sets a High Country pickup apart from lesser Chevy trucks? You'll be able to pick it out based on its chrome horizontal grille, body-color bumpers, 6-inch tubular side steps, 20-inch chrome wheels (18-inch on the 3500 and 17-inch on the dualie) and, of course, plenty of special badging. But it's inside where the High Country makes its mark, with a cabin decked out in saddle brown perforated leather, seats that are both heated and cooled, eight-inch touchscreen with full MyLink suite, Bose audio and park assist functions front and rear to keep those color-keyed bumpers looking fresh. (Though Chevy hasn't yet showed us the interior of the HD model, it'll presumably look mostly the same as the cab in the 1500 High Country in the gallery below.)

Mustang, Camaro, Challenger gallop onto USPS pony car postage stamp set

Tue, Jul 19 2022

Some of America's most iconic cars are about to be immortalized on postage stamps. A new set by the U.S. Postal Service will celebrate the the golden era of pony cars, featuring five classic examples of Detroit iron. Each one is beautifully illustrated in oil-on-canvas style, with subjects in motion and sunlight glinting off the chrome, and would add a nice touch to any first-class letter. The pony car segment was all about (relatively) small, sporty alternatives to the full-size land yachts of the 1960s. They typically came equipped with 6-cylinder engines or small-block V8s. The category was named after the Ford Mustang, henceĀ  the name. Some, though, argue that the Plymouth Barracuda, which was launched a couple of weeks before the Mustang, is the first. Luckily, the Falcon-based Mustang's distinct styling generated a sales sensation, or we might be calling them fish cars. Appropriately, one of the featured cars is a Mustang. But it's not just any Mustang. The 1969 Boss 302, seen here resplendent in Bright Yellow, was created for the hotly-contested SCCA Trans-Am racing series. One of its main rivals would have been the 1969 Chevy Camaro Z/28, also created specifically for the series, and is included in the set in Fathom Green. Representing Auburn Hills in the set is a 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T in Plum Crazy, while Southfield's American Motors gets a nod with an AMC Javelin in Big Bad Orange. The Mustang's platform cousin, a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7, is portrayed in a gorgeous Burgundy Poly that almost looks incomplete without Neko Case on the hood. It's not the first time the USPS has honored America's rich car culture on its stamps. In 2013, it issues a series of muscle car stamps with the help of Richard Petty. That set featured a 1966 Pontiac GTO, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1970 Chevelle SS, 1970 Plymouth Hemi ’Cuda and, of course, a 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona. Another set in 2016 featured classic pickup trucks. Going further back, a 2008 release had chroed and finned automobiles of the 1950sĀ and a 2005 release featured sporty American cars of the same era. The pony car stamps will debut on August 25 at the Great American Stamp Show in Sacramento, California in partnership with theĀ American Philatelic Society. The public is free to attend the dedication ceremony, but you must RSVP first. After that, they will be available at local post offices and on line at the USPS store.

Motor Trend puts Chevy Camaro Z28 and Porsche 911 GT3 Head 2 Head

Mon, Dec 29 2014

Motor Trend admits, "This is an unfair comparison." But that doesn't make it any less fun to watch when they pit a Camaro Z/28 against the Porsche 911 GT3. The former has a 7.0-liter V8 with 505 horsepower and 481 pound-feet of torque shifted through a six-speed manual. The latter has a 3.8-liter flat-six with 475 hp and 324 lb-ft shifted through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Yet those are only the little disparities – the big disparities are mass and money: the Camaro weighs 3,882 pounds and costs $76,150 as-tested, the Porsche weighs 3,267 pounds and costs $145,785. But they're both about hardcore performance, so MT takes them out on the street, to the drag strip, to the parking lot for figure eights and a skidpad test, and finally to Big Willow for Randy Pobst to give his professional assessment. Remember when a lotta people spent a lotta time debating Pirates vs. Ninjas? This is like that, only it's the "haul-ass good-time car" vs. the "track surgeon." Enjoy the debate in the video.
