National aluminum radiator, Aluminum transmission cooler with braided steel lines.
Level 2- Turbo 400 Terminator transmission with shift kit, oversized aluminum pan with cooler, Trans shifts fast and firm.
Rebuilt NP 208 transfer case(new gears, chain, & seals). Custom built and balanced driveshaft’s front and rear.
Tires are 39.5x15/15 super swampers on 15x12 Weld Racing aluminum rims.
Axles are rebuilt Corporate 10 bolt with 5.13 gears, open differentials, Axles are completely rebuilt with new bearings, seals, gears, & lugs.
Off-road Designs crossover steering,
4wheel disc brakes with parking brake & correct proportioning valve, new lines throughout the truck (brake & fuel)
Lift is 14” overall, with 12” springs and 2” body, new shocks and steering stabilizer.
The body is completely rust free and features new chrome bumpers, fenders, steel cowl induction hood, tailgate, and bed sides. The body was removed and the frame was sandblasted and epoxy painted semi-gloss black. The doors are genuine gm doors.
The bench seat is reupholstered with new black carpet and a cd player and Infinity speakers. It does need a new dash and door panels.
Both fuel tanks are new including lines, fuel pumps, and brackets.
This truck is totally rebuilt with new hoses, clamps, bolts, screws, brake lines.

This truck has not been though the mud, but does get driven on the street regularly. Therefore it does have minor nicks, scratches and dirt associated with normal driving. This truck needs the interior completed and a new drivers door hinge. With a few weekends work this Chevy could be 100%.

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future

The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.

Even with just four brands in the family, General Motors still represents a performance powerhouse. Between the Chevrolet Corvette Z06, Camaro Z/28, Cadillac CTS-V and ATS-V, The General can still deliver plenty of thrills. The 1980s, though, saw the brand go even crazier with performance. While the Camaro and Corvette were still around back in the day, GM had a number of other interesting performance offerings. The Bowtie was complemented by the long-deceased Monte Carlo SS, while the now-defunct Pontiac and Oldsmobile offered the Grand Prix and thumping 442, respectively. And Buick, which isn't short on performance with its Regal GS and Verano Turbo, offered a much more serious vehicle, in the form of the Grand National (not to mention the Darth Vader-spec GNX). GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
