I have a 1996 Chevy 1500 Z71 4x4. I will get right to it. It has a wrist pin or rod knock. It still runs and drives great it just has a knock at 2000 RPMs. It has black exterior and gray cloth interior. The interior is in great shape with no rips or cracks in the seats or dash. The paint is in good shape with some miner scratches. It has rust on the rocker panels and cab corners and some over the fender wells, but the frame is in great shape. It was not a plow truck or salt spreader, it is just a Chevy truck with a lot of miles. It has rims off of a newer GMC. It has true duel glass packs. The transmission shifts great with no problems. I just changed the oil and filter with 40wt and motor honey to help the knock. I also changed the fuel filter. I have been driving it like this for about 2 weeks, and it is not getting any worse. January no slump for Chevy Volt this year

The mild winter didn't tank January sales for the Chevy Volt this year. While last month's sales were a lot lower than December's – because January new vehicle sales are almost always lower than December's - the second-gen Volt had a good month. GM sold 996 Chevy Volts last month, an increase of 83.8 percent over the 542 sold last January. In December, 2,114 Volts were sold. The trend wasn't as good over at Nissan, which sold 755 Leafs in January. That's a drop of 29.4 percent compared to the 1,070 sold in January 2015. Given the lower overall sales for the Leaf these days, the drop from December wasn't as bad, with 1,347 Leafs sold in the last month of 2015. What's absolutely amazing is that after over five complete years of sales, the cumulative totals of the Leaf and Volt sales in the US remain almost exactly the same. The current difference is only 600 units, with the Leaf on top. If the Volt continues to outsell the Leaf for the next few months Â– and all indications are that that is likely, since Nissan is offering the first-gen model while Chevy has put out it much-improved second-gen - then we will soon get back to an equilibrium like we were at the end of February 2015, when the difference was just two units. As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned.
