You are bidding on a 1994 Chevy k1500, I have went through this entire truck as a project and replaced the following, the entire front end suspension has been replaced with moog problem solver parts, all new shocks front and rear, all new dual exhaust with a flowmaster muffler and flowtech headers, new steering gear box, new high performance water pump, new power steering pump, complete new a/c system " it blows cold",new battery, new front brake pads and rotors, new tires, new headliner, new camo true fit seatcovers, new window tint, new dash conversion kit, new stereo, new rubber floor mats, now for the engine which has 500 miles on it, it's a 383 stroker with aluminum vortec heads, it has a new edelbrock intake and a new high performance throttle body, the computer has also been chipped, msd ignition, msd coil, msd distributor, specter air filter, chrome valve covers and all the electric sensors were replaced...the motor dynoed @ 421 hp with a carburetor. this truck is straight and very clean and its 4x4 the only thing left to do is to get the transmission rebuilt it runs fine but needs to be rebuilt to match the performance of the motor....local pick in florida or you pay for shipping....john call or txt....813-527-1188

GM natural gas-powered vans recalled due to possible leak

General Motors is recalling almost 3,200 of its compressed-natural-gas powered utility vans because of possible leaks. GM and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released a notice last week saying that 3,196 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana CNG vans are on recall, though no accidents have been reported due to the possible issue. The recall is specifically for vans for model years ranging from 2011 to 2014. The recall stems from a potential leak from the compressed natural gas high-pressure regulator, and such a leak could cause a fire or explosion. GM will replace the vehicles' high-pressure regulator in order to fix the problem, will do it free of charge and is instructing owners to contact Chevrolet or GMC customer service to arrange for the parts replacement. Utility vehicle makers like General Motors have pushed for fleet sales of CNG-powered vans and trucks for the past few years and have touted them for their cheaper refueling costs relative to standard gasoline, not to mention the fact that natural gas can be readily sourced from throughout North America (thanks, fracking). According to CNGPrices.com, compressed natural gas sells for about $2.22 a gallon, on average, while the AAA is pegging the average price of gas at $3.34 a gallon. Burt Reynolds' vehicles up for auction at Barrett-Jackson

Burt Reynolds' influence on car culture cannot be overstated. Be it "Smokey and the Bandit" or "Cannonball Run," his films inspired a generation of car enthusiasts. He died a few weeks back from cardiac arrest at age 82. This weekend, four vehicles from Reynolds' personal collection — three Pontiacs and a Chevy Â— will go up for auction at Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas. It seems Reynolds had plans to sell the cars before he passed. He even filmed a short teaser for the auction and planned to attend the event himself. Three of the cars are Pontiac Trans Ams. Two are re-creations of the cars he drove in "Bandit" and the film "Hooper." Both are 1978 models. The third Trans Am is from 1984 and was used to promote Reynolds' USFL team, the Tampa Bay Bandits. The fourth vehicle is a 1978 Chevy R30 pickup truck. It's styled like the truck he drove in "Cannonball Run." None of the vehicles were actually used in the movies. But they were registered in his name, making them far more legitimate than some other movie-inspired clones. It's unclear how many Bandit Trans Ams Reynolds has owned over the years. Another car connected to him sold for $450,000 back in 2014. His death is sure to drive the price of these new cars even higher.
