Don't want to repeat too much here that's already in the description. 1961 Apache 10 short bed
Decent shape. Some rust but nothing like I've seen in other trucks not nearly this old. Bottoms of both doors have some rust. Cab mounts appear to be solid. Of course the wood bed is gone and all of the strips are too rusty to use.
Back glass is broken but there is another one laying in the seat. The motor is stuck, I haven't made any attempt to free it up so I don't know what the deal is but it appears to be complete. No battery, no keys.
This one is #3 on my list so if I can flip it for a few bucks, that's your gain as these are getting nearly impossible to find in any condition. Once I start on it, I will delete the listing until I finish it.
It says salvage title but that's because ebay doesn't list bill of sale as an option. To be clear: THERE IS NO TITLE, BILL OF SALE ONLY!
I was told that the mileage was original but after 50 years, that's kind of a moot point.
I cannot sell this one overseas as there is no title for customs. I will only accept paypal for your deposit. Balance must be via bank transfer or cash on pickup. Sale is FOB Gray Ga. You arrange all shipping or you can pick it up here.
NO RESERVE AUCTION
$300 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of EOE. Balance must be paid in full within one week. Once it's paid for, you have 30 days to get it.

Chevy's low-cost pedestrian avoidance to debut on 2016 Malibu
Tue, Jul 28 2015The mainstreaming of safety technologies that began on luxury vehicles will get a big boost from General Motors later this year. The General says it plans to offer 22 driver assistance systems across its product portfolio of 2016 models, starting with the redesigned Chevrolet Malibu - the one that we know will keep tabs on teenagers for the benefit of parents. Pedestrian avoidance will be another of its available options. Instead of kitting the sedan out with numerous and expensive radar arrays, the GM system uses the camera mounted next to the rearview mirror that is already used for the lane-keeping function. New software lets it detect pedestrians, and when it detects a potential collision with one, it can alert the driver and brake autonomously if the driver doesn't react. Eventually, engineers want to give it the ability to do the same with cyclists. Because it uses existing hardware updated with new code, GM says the application costs "a few hundred dollars." GM demonstrated the Front Pedestrian Braking preventing a crash with a dummy pedestrian at speeds up to 15 miles per hour. Automotive News reports that it will reduce the severity of impact up to 40 miles per hour, but "may not be of much use in collisions at higher speeds." That feature will also join the options list of the Cadillac CT6. The press release below has more on GM's driver tech soon on the way. Safety engineers will develop and test these and other safety technologies for products around the world at GM's new, 52-acre Active Safety Test Area at its Milford Proving Ground near Detroit. The $14 million facility officially opened Friday. "Our comprehensive safety strategy of helping customers before, during and after a crash continues," said Jeff Boyer, vice president of GM Global Vehicle Safety.
2015 Chevy Volt gets larger battery, though range remains the same
Sat, Jul 19 2014The Chevrolet Volt isn't changing much for the 2015 model year. According to specifications uncovered by Inside EVs, though, the new Volt's battery does have a slightly larger capacity. According to the spec sheet, this doesn't translate to increased range. Real world driving, though, might tell a different story. The 2015 Volt's battery storage is slightly higher than the outgoing model's, up from 16.5 kilowatt-hours to 17.1 kWh. According to GM's manager of electrification technology communications, Kevin Kelly, speaking to Green Car Reports, the increased capacity is "a late change done in the cell... just another continuous improvement to surprise and delight our customers." The stated electric range, however, stays at 38 miles. Inside EVs followed up on its original report, and found that drivers could see some advantage to the battery tweak. When they spoke to Kelly, he told them, "As a result of this change, we would expect that some customers may see a slight improvement in overall EV range." It's worth noting that when battery capacity increased from 16 kWh to 16.5 kWh for the 2013 Volt, electric range increased by three miles to the current 38, while MPGe went from 94 to 98. The price of the 2015 Chevrolet Volt remains steady, at $34,995. The actual cost to the customer is considerably less with the $7,500 federal tax credit, as well as any local incentives.
