1992 CHEVY BLAZER S10 4WD SPORT MODEL
High and low 4 wheel drive. Super BEAR CATCHER mounted on the front. You can catch a bear or a deer without damaging your truck I guess? Tilt steering wheel. Cruise Control almost never used. This great little truck was originally purchased NEW by a man who was 65 years old at the time. He was 82 when I purchased it from him and I'm 65 now and I have owned it for about 5 years or so. TWO OLD GEEZER OWNED. It has always been cared for mechanically and it is a very reliable vehicle. It goes anywhere in deep snow too. We went out several times in winter trying to get stuck but you can't stick this thing. It goes through 2 feet of snow like it wasn't even there. The motor and trans are dry with no leaks and it doesn't use oil. Power windows - AM/FM stereo with some sort of a booster in the rear mounted to the side? I don't listen to the radio often but it sure is unbelievable when I do. I don't think the CD player part works? AC unit is not hooked up and never has been since I owned it. I do not know if it works or not. Rear window defroster not hooked up but easy to do. Rear window windshield wiper. Superb designer seats - the interior is excellent. Fold down rear seat provides lots of room for stuff. It has rust in fender wells and bottom side panels as shown but it hasn't gotten any worse since I purchased it because I always treat that with rust inhibitor. 2000 RPM equals 75 miles an hour using the cruise control and it gets 20mpg consistently. This little truck is unbelievable on the highway as well as in town. It has a very, very tight turning and parking radius. The first owner never used the cruise control and I have only used it a few times. 4.3litre strong V6 motor is actually 3/4 of a Chevy 350 block and it is a strong running motor. PA inspected to 10/13 but it has never needed anything. I'm really easy on a vehicle and take care of it. Needs front tires soon - rear are about 60%. Recently aligned it runs straight down the road. New fuel pump in the tank cost me $500. New alternator.
VERY FEW, IF ANY, OF THIS MODEL 4WD S10 BLAZER ARE AVAILABLE. I could not find another on ebay.

General Motors Recalls Nearly 780,000 Cars To Fix Deadly Problem
Thu, Feb 13 2014General Motors is recalling nearly 780,000 compact cars in North America because the engines can shut down unexpectedly and cause crashes. The company says six people have been killed in crashes related to the problem. The recall affects Chevrolet Cobalts and Pontiac G5s from the 2005 through 2007 model years. U.S. safety regulators say the weight of the key ring and rough roads can move the ignition switch out of the run position, cutting the engine and electricity. If that happens, air bags may not work. GM says there have been 22 crashes from the problem. All happened at high speeds. Dealers will replace the ignition switch for free. GM says owners should remove nonessential items from key rings until the problem is fixed. GM issues stop-sale for 3 SUVs over incorrect MPG rating
Fri, May 13 2016This week, GM sent a memo to Chevy, GMC, and Buick dealers to tell them to stop selling three SUVS. The 2016 Chevy Traverse, the GMC Acadia, and the Buick Enclave all have EPA window stickers that show higher fuel economy ratings than the vehicles actually have. Unlike other recent – and very public – fuel economy ratings problems from VW and Mitsubishi, it doesn't seem like GM did anything wrong with the testing for these vehicles, it just misprinted the labels. New labels are being printed and should arrive at dealerships this weekend and early next week. After that, the SUVs will be able to be sold and delivered again. The official fuel economy rating for the three SUVs are all the same. The correct numbers for the all-wheel drive versions are 17 miles per gallon combined, 15 city, and 22 highway. The stickers say the SUVs get 17/24/19. The front-wheel driver models were also incorrectly labeled, and the total number of affected vehicles is 59,823. In the memo, GM said the problem was caused by an "inadvertent error," Automotive News says. GM is working with the EPA to solve the issue. We have asked GM for a comment on the mistake and will update this post if we hear back. Related Gallery 2013 GMC Acadia View 16 Photos News Source: Automotive News – sub. req. Cadillac CT6 production ceases January 2020 as part of D-Ham layoffs
Fri, Dec 6 2019General Motors filed paperwork under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act with Michigan's Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity this week, detailing events to come at the automaker's Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Plant. Starting February 28, 814 salaried and hourly workers at D-Ham, as its called, will be laid off. The 753 workers represented by the UAW will begin receiving offers in January to relocate to facilities in Michigan and Ohio, or buyout offers. As the 4-million-square-foot plant winds down through April 3 to a skeleton crew, the Cadillac CT6 ceases production in January 2020, and the last Chevrolet Impala comes off the line on February 28. The loss of the CT6 represents the end of Cadillac's latest brief, and highly regarded, adventure into flagship sedans. It might also mean the end of the 4.2-liter Blackwing twin-turbo V8 engine, at least for the moment. Both casualties are calamities. The death of the Impala closes the door on a nameplate in production for 52 years since 1957, having started off as a top-tier trim for the 1958 Bel Air known as the Bel Air Impala, once advertised with the line, "Lets you know you're the boss." As part of the new four-year labor agreement with the UAW, GM is keeping D-Ham open to build a new line of battery-electric vehicles, ultimately investing $3 billion and tripling employment to 2,225 workers when fully operational. The agreement described the coming EV as a "van" that would commence production in late 2021, but various reports say what's actually coming is a range of premium EVs in pickup and SUV bodystyles under the program codename BT1. The easy predictions put an electric GMC Sierra and Cadillac Escalade among the EV fold, but not until 2023, according to auto industry forecaster LMC Automotive. Before that, LMC claims an electric van will debut in late 2021, along with a battery-powered rebirth of the Hummer brand in pickup and SUV forms, also in late 2021.Â
