 Description

FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION: I have for sale a real nice looking 1970 Chevelle Super Sport replica/copy. The black paint is very nice and it on a good straight body. The 350 engine runs good with a good hitting cam, the exhaust has the Muscle Car sound. The car is power steering, power brakes with disc in front and drums in the rear. The transmission is a good shifting Turbo 350 and the rear-end a 10 bolt. The wheels are American Eagle and the tires BF Goodrich. The balck interior look very good. This is a real nice driver, its no perfect $100,000 car for $18,600.

VIN: 136370A124721

MILES: 123064

HISTORY: I can not tell you a lot, my desription is from what I see.

IS THIS A REAL SUPER SPORT ?No, it is a replicar, its a copy.

IS THIS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR? I do not know, but it could be, the engine and transmission fit correct.

HAS THE CAR EVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT? I do not think so, the title states nothing and I found no bends in the frame.

PAINT: I consider the paint real nice! It has no dents, no dings, no rust bubbles, it has a very brillant shine, the body is straight. It does have a couple of very tiny touched up chips. Come inpect it, I think its extra good paint, your standarded my be different.

INTERIOR: Nice black interior, the headliner is very good, seat covers good, dash pad good, carpet good used condition, door panels good other than the bottom of the drivers (it is wavy and rough on the bottom).

CHROME: Nice chrome!

GLASS: Good glass, the side windows roll up and down good, the windshield looks like it has been replaced.

WHEELS: New looking American Eagle wheels, they are 15 inch, the back looks like 9 inch and the front looks like 7 inch to me. The tires look new, they are TA radials by BF Goodrich.

ENGINE: The past owner said it was a 350 cubic inch, it is built strong. It has a hard hitting cam and a big Demon carb.

EXHAUST: Its in good used condition, it has full tube headers, pipes look like 2 & 1/2 inch to me, the mufflers look like Flow Master. The exhaust has the deep/loud Muscle Car sound.

LIGHTS: The headlights work, tail lights work, turn signals work, brake lights work, the dome light works.

GAUGES: The oil and temp are in a pod under the dash, the speedometer works, the gas gauge is not working. Horn is not working.

RADIO: Junk!!!! It comes on, but has no knobs and does not play.

STEERING: The car is power steering, it drives OK, but not as good as factory. When you raise the car up, they don't drive as good, but they look good.

BRAKES: The brakes are power assisted with disc in the front and drums in the rear. You have to push the pedal a lot harder than factory, reason is because of a big cam in the engine. When you install a big cam your engine vacuum is not as great, the power booster is operated by vacuum. With less vacuum you have to push the pedal harder. I drive lots of old cars like Model A Fords that have mechanical brakes so its not a big deal to me. Past owner must of not had a problem with it. If you drive it and have a problem Summit Racing sells a vacuum pump that will supply the needed vacuum to get to back to normal.

REAR-END: Its a 10 bolt with good highway gearing, it has no growls or whines.

DOES THE CAR LEAK FLUIDS? Have you ever seen a old car that does not leave some drops? It leave no puddles of fluid, it will leave the normal drops.

UNDERSIDE: The underside is not beautiful, it looks like a old car. The frame looks solid to me, the floor OK with maybe small minor repairs, 1 support has been replaced as well as the right rear quarter drop down. If you want beautiful you have to pay a lot more.

THIS WAS AN ORIGINAL AIR CONDITIONING CAR: The parts from the cowl back are in place the engine stuff is long gone.

BEST THINGS ABOUT CAR: It is ready to drive, it have nice paint, it looks great, it has nice wheels and decent interior, it looks and sounds like a Muscle Car.

WORST THINGS ABOUT THE CAR: The radio is junk, the gas gauge is not working, the horn is not working, it has a big cam and you have to push the brake harder than factory.

WHY DON'T I FIX EVERTHING? I don't have time and the price just goes up. If I was going to do everthing I would fix the few things I mention, I would put a big block in it, I would ask over 25K.

BOTTOM LINE: Please no trades! My price is very good and fair, it is $18,600.

WHERE IS THE CAR LOCATED? Athens, Tennessee 37303.
