A “roller” is a rolling, steering car with no engine or transmission.

1962 marked the introduction of the T6 body, with its larger trunk opening, external fuel filler with door, and twin grille engine lid. As always, the cars incorporated thoughtful and functional design, along with the tried and true Porsche dogmas of high quality, value, reliability, and mechanical robustness.

This 1963 car was taken down to its bones in order to build an outlaw.  As you can see from the photos, the chassis is a very solid un-rusty example.  This was to be the basis for the build.  Because it is a nice dry solid car, at this point the car can go outlaw or back to an original stock look.  Dry cars, that have not rusted, are getting increasingly hard to find and are very desirable for those that want a solid foundation.

The photographs show the parts that are included with the car.  It is hard to see but there is an ignition switch amongst the parts.  There are some duplicate parts and they accompany the car as well.  In addition to the dry chassis the car has gaps that are all good.  This also is hard to find in these old tubs.  The engine lid was un-latched during the photos but it also fits very well.

The car has a clean clear California title.  It has been off the road for 17 years. We can pack the car with the parts and ship anywhere in the world. Mileage shows as 356.  The total mileage is unknown.

Terms of Sale Overview

I reserve the right to end this listing at anytime should the vehicle no longer be available for sale. The following terms of sale apply to all of my auctions.

1. To bid on this item you must be a Registered eBay user.

2. You the bidder are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the automobile listed on this page. Please do not bid if you do not intend to purchase.

3. Buyers are responsible to pay a non-refundable $1000 deposit via paypal within one business day. Full payment must be received within five business days from end of auction.

4.  I can normally ship normal cars to Europe for only $990. 

5. California residents pay sales tax and registration fee unless you pick the car up with a trailer/transporter with Bill of Lading showing an address outside CA state line. Out-of-State buyers may register and pay applicable taxes in their home state so no sales tax for you either.

6. Seller reserves the right to notify bidders and end the auction early without any liability to the seller.

7. No bid retractions allowed 24 hours prior to auction end. Please have all necessary information available to complete transaction.

8. The vehicles herein are pre-owned and they are sold as "As Is" condition.

9. I strongly encourage all buyers to have the vehicle checked out at authorized service providers before he/she purchases it.  I will help in this effort.

Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.  Some banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, I will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers'.  I have good opened and closed shippers and can ship a car to Europe for $990 US.

I am the smallest car dealer in the country. I love air cooled Porsche cars and have owned and driven them for 47 years.  I know where to look for rust bugs and seek out dry Southwest cars.  I can and will assist in shipping this auto nationally or internationally.
