1966 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Convertible. 4-Speed. GORGEOUS! See VIDEO.

1966 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible

From the estate of a well-known Northwest muscle car collector, this is a factory 4-4-2 convertible that was restored over several years time and finished in 2009. A thick file of receipts for all work done is included. Minimal use since completion. See photos.

This car was produced in the Lansing, Michigan plant. As delivered, it is one of just 1,448 442's produced with the manual 4-speed transmission with Hurst shifter and one of 2,653 produced with the Rochester 4-barrel carburetor. The original engine received a full rebuild to factory specs: 400 cubic inch V-8 with 350 HP. 10.5:1 compression. 440 ft./lbs. torque @ 3,600 rpm. Rated at 0-60 mph in 7.8 seconds.

Originally a white car, it was repainted in correct 1966 "Burgundy Mist" color. Paint is excellent, with a deep shine and no blemishes. NO RUST. Panel fit is excellent. Chrome and trim are bright and blemish-free. Interior is correct white vinyl showing no wear. Factory AM/FM radio. Tachometer. Rallye wheels. New tires. New exhaust. New black convertible power top. All gauges and options work. Please see photos and video.

I have personally driven this car and it runs and performs like new. I would not hestitate to drive it anywhere. Truly the best of both worlds: show or go!

The only reason for selling is to settle an estate. A realistic reserve has been placed on this car in keeping with its rarity and quality, WELL BELOW Blue Book value. Please bid accordingly.

WE WILL HAPPILY SELL TO BIDDERS, WORLDWIDE.
