I have for sale a beautiful and original Mercedes Benz 560 SEL. This sedan is the final year of the W126 chassis and your opportunity to own a classic Mercedes Benz. This particular car is a native of the Pacific Northwest and our temperate climate has preserved its condition. Despite being 23 years young, the exterior of this premium sedan is in excellent shape. The body is straight and the panel gap and fitment is factory. The exterior paint is original and is finished in a factory Polar White paint. The lower part of the body is painted in metallic silver that really compliments the look. A recent detail and polish has brought out the original shine and luster. The reflection in the paint looks 100 feet deep!

The body side moldings and chrome trim are in excellent condition. The painted front and rear bumpers are beautiful and have been polished to a mirror finish. Overall the body is in great shape considering the age. There are a few minor chips and imperfections, but if you look closely at the photos you will see they have been carefully touched up with factory matching paint.

The Mercedes roles on factory Scallop style wheels that are chrome plated with a Gold plated Mercedes Benz logo. The premium wheels truly add an upscale look to the exterior. The wheels are in excellent condition without any major pitting or delamination. All four wheels are wrapped with Toyo tires that have good tread remaining.

Pop the hood and prepared to be impressed by the factory Mercedes Benz V8. This engine was the largest and most powerful motor fitted to full-size Benz sedan and it is the perfect combination of power and efficiency for this executive sedan. The engine compartment is very clean and supports the meticulous care and service this Benz received. The engine starts instantly and idles very smooth. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly into gear and is equipped with 4 gears that provide plenty of power for passing.

This Mercedes comes with an extensive and detailed service history. It received regular maintenance by Rasmussen Mercedes-Benz here in Portland. Diligent care of the mechanicals can be seen in how well it runs and drives.

All the exterior glass is crystal clear and scratch free without any delamination or imperfections. Look closely at the photos and you'll notice the original Mercedes Benz stamping on the glass. The stainless trim around the windshield is still bright and shiny.

The interior features the luxurious and supportive factory leather seating. There are no rips or tears in the dove gray leather. The foam padding is firm and not worn down. Both the front and rear seats are power adjustable and feature seat heaters. The carpets are matching Gray and stain free.

Whether you choose to drive or ride you can adjust your seat for comfort and proper warmth. The driver’s seat feature memory settings for multiple drivers.

The dashboard is crack free and doesn't show any sun fading. The wood trim adds the right touch of luxury to the interior. Being a German car means that the every detail was engineered to the highest standard. The instrument cluster is designed to keep the driver informed and includes a factory tachometer, battery gauge, oil pressure gauge, water temperature gauge, and fuel economy gauge. All are in working order. The steering wheel adjusts both up & down and fore & aft so any size driver can find a comfortable position.

The stereo system is the factory Mercedes Benz unit that features an AM/FM Cassette deck with a trunk mounted 10-disc CD changer.

This is a smoke free sedan. The cigarette lighter and ashtray have never been used. The door panels have no cracks and the armrests are wear free.

Being a top-of-the-line sedan means this car is fully loaded. Factory options include tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power windows & door locks, and air conditioning.

In the interest of full disclosure, there are a couple items about the Mercedes that I should mention. Currently, the Sun Roof is inoperable. I have been told that it requires a new cable, which is a relatively inexpensive fix. Also one of the front turn signal lenses has a small crack in it. Please see the pictures for more detail
