This is a true Z28 and it's had a restoration you won't believe. It's beautiful, it's incredibly nice, and you won't see another one like it! It's had a complete, frame-off nut and bolt restoration over the last two years and it was completed in June of 2012. The car was completely disassembled, placed on a rotisserie, media blasted, floor pans replaced, epoxy primed, blocked, and primed again. It was painted in Mercedes silver with charcoal stripes in a base clear paint with 4 coats of clear. The trim tag is the only way to prove that a Camaro is truly a Z28 and we have the trim tag as you can see in the photo. The "8" near the bottom right means it's a Z28 that was built in the Los Angeles plant.Below is a breakdown of the restoration:Exterior: 2011 Mercedes silver with charcoal stripes, 2 coats of clear, wet sand, two finish coats then a wet sand and buff to a mirror finish. All window trim, grills, emblems, taillights, door handles, locks, window motors and all glass was replaced with new parts. A Harwood 2" steel hood was installed. Rims are 18x9.5 rear with Nexen 3000 275/35/18s, and 18x8 front with Nexen 3000 225/40/18s. Suspension/Undercarriage: Subframe, control arms, sway bars, driveshaft, rear end, leaf springs, spindles and all brackets were sandblasted and powder coated in gloss black and silver. 2" drop spindles in the front and 1" drop leaf springs in the rear. 4-wheel disc brakes & stainless braided lines with cross-drilled and slotted rotors from Right Stuff Detailing. KYB gas shocks all the way around. Every bushing replaced with polyurethane. New gas tank, fuel lines, brake lines. Under-carriage was blasted and coated with Raptor Sound Proofing.Drive Train: Professionally built by Central Florida Speed.4 bolt main. 350 bored .030 over. TRW flat-top pistons. Melton HV oil pump. Chrome oil pan/timing chain cover. All ARP bolts. Edlebrock aluminum heads. 2.02 valves. Edlebrock RPM Air Gap intake.Holley Pro Series 750 double-pump. Comp Cams .490 lift camshaft. March Performance Ultra Drive Polished serpentine pulley system. Detroit Speed smooth firewall. Vintage Air Gen-IV air conditioning installed with hoses run in the fenders. All braided hoses. Completely re-built Turbo 350 tranny w/shift kit. B&M 3000 stall converter. New 3.73 rear end.Interior: Dash, Console, Headliner and seats all custom hand stitched to match. B&M MegashifterDakota VHX gauges in blue. New carpet, door panels, rear panels and sill plates.
