Up for sale is a beautiful all original matching numbers 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am.  

This is the 2nd Generation and the original Smokey and the Bandit style. Was only made for 2 years (1977-1978) with the BatMobile front end with quad square headlamps. Very desireable. It has the original Pontiac W72 performance engine 400 c.i.d, 4-bbl V8 T/A 6.6L with an automatic transmission. Rare brown color. Originally out of the Norwood plant. It is the W72 of which there were only 10,466 made in automatic. 

1977 would the year that firmly established the Firebird as the performance car of the 1970s. 

The car needs some carb work but it does run but shuts off because of the carb adjustment. Needs some body work and drivers side floor repaired as seen in the pictures.  Driver's seat needs to be done. Carpet could use refurbishing. Trunk is solid. Great project car while you drive it.  

Blue Book on this vehicle runs from $11,000 - $32,000 depending on the condition.
