This has to be one of the coolest production cars ever put out by a major manufacturer. Who would have ever thought Plymouth would build a factory HOT ROD? Check out the lines on this thing! The design looks like something Coddington or Foose would conceive with a price tag of $250,000+ to create. The design of the Prowler was said to have been inspired after Chrysler engineers were given free rein to create whatever they wanted in a "hot rod" type vehicle. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler is the open, Indy racer style front wheels. When I took the pictures of this sweet ride, a woman pulled up next to me and said “I give you first place for that beautiful car” – I never get tired of compliments, even if it’s not a car I own. Only 2,746 Prowlers were built in 2000.
