The iconic Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce is truly a classic roadster.  AR Spiders are great driver’s cars – clean and sexy lines, quick and nimble, and oh, so elegant!

The 1982 Spider was last year of the classic Kammback body style and the first year of the dependable Bosch fuel injection system - so 1982 is a great year for both classic looks and dependability.  The renowned 2 liter AR engine with 5 speed manual tranny runs strongly and smoothly (and this one has no 2nd-gear synchro issues, as some do).

This 1982 Spider has low mileage, just under 56K.  Its paint job is older but in good shape, with a small chips noticeable only on close inspection, in original shade of Alfa "Rosso" red.  No dents, and it is now a rust-free car, as I have had existing trouble spots replaced with new metal and matching paint.  The original “bruno” (brown) interior is clean ad shows little wear.  The seats have been redone, but match perfectly, and the original wooden steering wheel gleams.  The manual convertible top is fairly new, high-quality black canvas.  Wheels are the original alloys.  Newer tires have plenty of tread.

The Veloce model has power windows and power electric mirrors.  This one also has an aftermarket Sony stereo with upgraded speakers, tuner, CD, and satellite radio and mp3 capability. This car also comes with its original 1982 owners’ manual and an aftermarket DVD with brochures, shop manuals, and specs, as well as extra fuses, small parts, badges, and a tonneau cover.

Spring is on its way, and this road-loving roadster is clean, beautiful, a great driver, and in very good condition.  I’ve enjoyed it for 3 years now – make it yours!  This car is also listed for sale locally, and may be sold before this auction ends. Fair and reasonable reserve – bid accordingly, and good luck.
