Up for NO RESERVE auctions is a 1965 MGB which has been upgraded to a 2.8L V6 Ford Engine mated to what appears to be the original 4-Speed manual transmission. 

 

This car has been owned for the last 22 years by the same gentleman who
resided, maintained, and enjoyed this MG here in Sarasota, FL 



It features all new disk brakes, original knock-off wire wheels  including
the spare, a newer paint job which is driver quality.  You can see the
rocker panels have some waves and there are a few flaws which I have tried to photograph.  The paint job wasn't of the highest quality, but it’s
definitely a looker. 

 

The bottoms of the doors are solid and they do shut pretty nice. The floor pans appear to be very solid as you can see in the pictures.

 

The car has some modifications to the starting system which we will go over for the new owner (fuel pump switch, start button, electric fan on a switch, etc..)

 

Included are some additional parts which I have photographed.  A convertible top frame is included but it does not have the soft top.  This is available
through vendors.  The frame is in good solid condition.  The Dunlop
Citation tires are in excellent shape and all match.

 

The car runs and drives pretty well.  It is a driver quality car that will
be sold for a very fair price.  Sure it’s going to need some TLC here
and there but it’s a good foundation for a budget build you can drive while you upgrade.
