This Monza Red Defender 90 is one of just 1,300 US-spec D90s that were imported in 1997, which was also the only year for the larger 4.0L V8 engine and ZF automatic transmission. It has been extremely well-cared for and never abused, and it has just undergone servicing here at the Park Place LTD Service Center that included a new head gasket and timing cover seal.

One of the ultimate off-road machines, the Land Rover D-90 gets high marks for both rugged capability and desirability. The 4.0L V8 is mated to a heavy-duty 4-speed ZF transmission with a near bullet-proof locking differential and 4WD - perfect for those steep grades. This D90 also features brush guards in the front and rear for when it gets a bit thick, as well as Hella Rallye 1000 fog lamps, new front brakes and a five new off-road tires -- full size spare included.

This D90 underwent minor cosmetic freshening in 2013 that included a repaint in correct Monza Red, the original hardtop was refinished and the undercarriage was powdercoated. Inside, the seats were reupholstered with custom leather covers and an Alpine / Focal premium audio system has replaced the dated original units.

Included with this D90 are the owner's books, a clean CarFax history report, service records and keys.
