  THIS CAR IS A JOY TO DRIVE. IT IS NOT A RACE CAR ITS A NICE PRO TOURING VERY HIGH PERFORMANCE CAR YOU CAN DRIVE EVERY DAY. 
IF YOU DRIVE IT SMOOTH WILL GIVE YOU ABOUT 25+ m.p.g.  IT IS VERY RELIABLE. EVERYTHING IS NEW WITH LESS THAN 5,000 MILES .  THAT IS WHY I AM LISTING IT AT 4,500 MILES.
 I HAVE ONLY DONE 4 OIL CHANGES WITH CASTROL 10/40 AND FRAM OIL FILTER. IST ONE 3 MINUTES AFTER FIRST FAST IDLE BREAK IN START UP. 2ND AFTER ENGINE TIMING WAS SET AND CARBURETOR TUNED AND DRIVEN ABOUT 100 MILES. 3RD AT ABOUT 2,000 MILES AND I JUST DID THE 4TH ONE. 
THERE IS A COMPANY CALLED GRANNY'S SPEED SHOP, IN CALIFORNIA, THEY SELL A FANTASTIC KIT TO DO THIS SWAP, JUST LOOK IT UP. THE OWNER OF THE SPEED SHOP HAS A RX 7  VERY SIMILAR TO THIS ONE.
 I  STARTED BY GETTING HIS VERY BEST DELUXE KIT.  ABOUT $2,500 . HAS EVERYTHING TO DO A REAL PRO JOB. AND MAKES THE SWAP REAL EASY.
 THE EQUAL LENGTH CERAMIC COATED HEADERS FIT AND LOOK  PERFECT THE SPECIAL OIL PAN CLEARS EVERYTHING. THE MOTOR MOUNTS JUST BOLT RIGHT IN, ALL THE FACTORY GAUGES WORK AS THEY SHOULD.
 THE CAR DRIVES WAY BETTER THAN ORIGINAL. 
 THE HEAVY DUTY ALUMINUM RADIATOR HAS 3 FANS 2 IN FRONT THAT KICK IN IF THE TEMP GOES PAST 210. BUT AS FAR AS I KNOW THEY HAVE NEVER COME ON, CAUSE THE HIGHEST I HAVE EVER SEEN IT GO WAS LIKE 200 AND THAT WAS AT LAST YEARS MONSTER TRAFFIC JAM AT THE TURKEY ROD RUN IN DAYTONA FLORIDA'S HEAT.  DURING THE DAY IT STAYS AT 180-190 AND IN THE COOL EVENINGS NEVER GOES PAST 180. 
  THIS IS NOT A SHOW CAR ITS A  PRO TOURING DRIVER.
 ITS BAD TO THE BONE AND SOUNDS REAL NASTY WHEN YOU GET ON IT HARD. IDLES AT 850 R.P.M. WITH A NICE RUMP RUMP CAM SOUND. 
 I WENT OUT OF MY WAY TO MAKE THIS CAR A WELL BALANCED AND NICE DRIVABLE CAR.  HERE'S A BREAK DOWN.  NO RUST AND VERY STRAIGHT SILVER 1985 GSL .
 CAR WAS REPAINTED MANY YEARS AGO SAME ORIGINAL COLOR.
 I INSTALLED A NEW WINDSHIELD LAST YEAR AND THERE WAS NO SIGNS OF RUST ANYWHERE. ALL SUSPENSION FRONT END UPGRADED TO 2ND GENERATION TURBO 2 WITH  BIG BREMBO BRAKES. CONVERTED FRONT AND REAR TO 5 LUGS WITH SPECIAL REAR AXCELS AND MORROSO HEAVY DUTY STUDS.
 TURBO TWO BUCKET SEATS. INTERIOR IS CLEAN, NICE DASH, HEADLINER,CARPET, ALL IN GOOD CONDITION.  
 ALL FACTORY GAUGES  MADE TO WORK AS SHOULD WITH THE CHEVY 350.
 ENGINE HAS A DEMON 650 CARBURATOR, WEIAND STEALTH ALUM. INTAKE, EDELBROCK PERFORMER R.P.M. ALUMINUN HEADS, AND WATER PUMP, EXTREME ENERGY COMP CAM 268 H. AND ROLLER ROCKERS. MALLORY ELECTRONIC DISTRIBUTOR AND 9 MM WIRES. CRANE HI CD IGNITION AND REV LIMITER. LIGHTWEIGHT HIGH TORQUE STARTER.
 1 7/8 CERAMIC COATED LONG TUBE HEADERS THAT FIT PERFECT AND CHANGING SPARK PLUGS IS REAL EASY,THESE CAME WITH THE GRANNYS SPEED SHOP SWAP KIT.

 WHEELS ARE SPECIAL LIGHT WEIGHT 17 INCH WITH 205 45 17 FRONT AND HUGE NITTO 255 55 17 REAR. 
 ONE PIECE LOW COWL FIBERGLASS HOOD AND OPTIMA RED TOP BATTERY IN THE PASSENGER SIDE STORAGE AREA.
 AS YOU CAN SEE EVERY EFFORT WAS DONE TO MAKE CAR AS LIGHT AS POSSIBLE ESPECIALLY IN THE FRONT END. THE RESULTS ARE NOTHING SHORT OF FANTASTIC. VERY WELL BALANCED AND HANDLING CAR.
 THIS CAR CRUISES ON THE HIGHWAY AT 80 M.P.H. AT ONLY 2,500 R.PM.  YOU JUST GIVE IT A LITTLE GAS AND ITS DOING 100 LIKE NOTHING. 
 A FACTORY ORIGINAL 1985 RX7 WEIGHS ABOUT 2,300 LBS AND COMES WITH A 100 H.P. 12 A. ENGINE OR AN OPTIONAL 130 H.P. 13 B. 
  I HAD MY RX7 WEIGHTED IT WAS ONLY 2,230 LBS. WITH A 1/4 TANK OF GAS IN IT AND WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION WAS 51 AND 49. WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS IT SHOULD BE RIGHT AT 50- 50.
 ENGINE MAKES AN EASY AND RELIABLE 450 H.P. AND THE LOW END TORQUE IS JUST INCREDIBLE IN SUCH A LIGHT CAR, EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT I LIKE IT MORE IT TURNS HEADS GETS THUMPS UP AND GATHERS A CROWD OF LOOKERS.
 IF YOU WANT A  BLING, BLING SHOW CAR THIS IS NOT IT, ITS A PRO TOURING MUSCLE CAR READY DRIVER, SO I AM NOT SELLING CAUSE I HAVE TO, ONLY BECAUSE I LIKE TO WORK ON HOT RODS AND I ALREADY HAVE NEW IDEAS IN MY HEAD TO BUILD SOMETHING ELSE, ONE AT A TIME.
   I DONT THINK YOU COULD BUILD JUST THE MOTOR FOR MY ASKING STARTING PRICE. YOU WOULD SPEND OVER $20,000 TO DUPLICATE ONE LIKE THIS. SO IF IT DOES NOT SELL I WILL JUST KEEP ON HAVING FUN, I FIGURE IT WILL BE WORTH THE SAME EVEN IF I DRIVE IT 20,000 MORE MILES.
