Up for auction is a very nice running and driving 1973 Dodge Challenger. If you are looking for a new car or a restored challenger you will need to pass on this car and look for another. If you are looking for a very dependable, daily driver, affordable challenger, then this is it. This car has all original sheet metal and panels. The paint is an older repaint around 10 years or so and there is minor filler on the lower qts and maybe elsewhere. It is a very solid and rust free car with minor bubbles on the lower QT panels. There is also lots of tiny dents on the top fenders and trunk lid, some dents under the vinyl top,but no major rust problems. The exterior color is dark silver metallic with satin black hood and very nice black vinyl top. It has dual chrome mirrors, RT gas cap with lock. Both doors open and close very good, all windows roll up and down easy, front and rear. The exterior chrome and stainless are also in very nice driver condition. Clean front grill,shinny chrome bumpers. The wheels are 15" rallyes with 70-71 style caps. All tires are 225-60-15 and in fair conditon. This is an excellent driver car with everything in excellent working condition. It has a rebuilt 360 small block engine, edelbrock performer aluminum intake manifold,valve covers,K & N air cleaner and 4-bbl carburetor. It has electronic ignition, headers with very nice dual exhaust system with the correct chrome tips out the rear panel. 727 automatic transmission, and 3:23 gears. The motor is strong, the trany shifts perfect,no noise from the rear end, no oil or trany leaks. front and rear sway bars with heavy duty suspension. It is cooled with the correct 26" radiator and fan shroud. It also has dual electric fans added.

The engine, transmission,suspension all have around 5000 miles or less since rebuilt. This challenger has the R/T hood with 360 FOUR BARREL insignias and hood pins with factory latch. Rallye fender mouldings, {no strobe-stripes}, rocker mouldings, power steering, power disc brakes. The AC was converted to {R134A} and is also in excellent working condition. {Blows Cold} It has a complete rallye wheel with tire for a spare and original jack assembly. There is a new trunk mat installed.

The interior is also in very nice condition, carpet has been replaced and is very clean and nice with challenger floor mats. The door panels,front and rear look to be original and in very good shape. All seat belts are in the car and working. The headliner has been replaced and also very nice. The front bucket seats and rear seats are gray cloth interior. They are older, but no tears or rips and very nice. The floor shift console is in good condition with excellent working slap-stik shifter. The dash top is very nice with center speaker grill. The Rallye dash cluster is in excellent working condition. The odometer,speed ometer,tach,fuel,temp,volt,oil, even the clock are all working. All lights work,inside dome,glove box,and map light work,very good emergency brake. The cigarett lighter in the ashtray works. This car was a G code with 318 engine and has been upgraded to the 360 engine. The clear TX title matches the VIN,radiator support,cowl and door sticker. I do have the factory build sheet in very nice condtion,but no fender tag. I drove this car over 200 miles and it driver great,runs strong and is a nice and dependable driver. The frame rails,floors,rockers,shock towers,cowl,door jambs,trunk are all clean and solid with no rust.

The car is missing the radio. It has light scratches here and there. It is an older repaint and has been a driver car for the past 10 years or so. There are tiny dents on top of fenders and trunk lid. It has some scuffs on the front glass from wipers. Minor bubbles on lower qts. There is very light surface rust in the trunk. This car is ready to go,drive, and have fun. It is not a perfect car and will need a few things . It is a very solid car.
