Up for sale we have a 1969 Chevy Camaro RS. This is by far one of the most loved and sought after vehicles on the market today. It was an instant hit the moment it hit the show room floor and forever changed the muscle car era. The one we have for you is laid you with a beautiful paint scheme and is packed full of goodies from front to back. In the paragraphs to follow we will give you a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.

Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 50 to 60 cars at all times. We don’t have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that’s how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Camaro. When you stand back and look at this Camaro it has a laser straight body with very good fit and finish of gaps and body panels. It’s covered in a slick Cortez Silver paint that is accented by the Black Z Stripes and front spoiler. At the time of the resto it was fitted with all new bumpers and other chrome. Also the RS front end was upgraded to the working electric doors. New weather stripping was installed to ensure a good fit of the doors and trunk. As for the stainless it was removed and either replaced or cleaned. All of the glass looks very good with good felt on the side glass. The final exterior touch is the set of 18” and 20” Eagle wheels on the corners.

Next, we will take a look at the interior of the ’69. It is all done in the classic black and makes for the perfect complement to the exterior that really flows nicely to make for a killer look inside and out. It has buckets seats and console with the gauge pack along with a raised cup hold and arm rest that can be removed to give it the more stock look. All the seats, carpet, and door panels look great and it has seat belts to keep you legal. All the gauges from the dash to the console have been upgraded to Stuart Warner. The Radio was upgraded to an Alpine CD player and the steering wheel was upgraded to a custom wood wheel. Also, the vintage AC controls are in the dash where the stock controls would be.

Finally, we will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it is very neat and clean with painted inner fenders. The engine is a 402 Big Block that is mated to a Muncie 4 Speed and a late model 10 Bolt Rear End. It’s dressed with Aluminum Valve Covers, Polished Intake, and Holley Carb. The pulleys were also changed to aluminum. To give it the sound we love it has Headers and Flow Master Exhaust. To keep it cool it has a new 4 Core Radiator. The brakes were upgraded to a Wilwood Master and 4 Wheel Disc. Along with the Power Steering it also has the Vintage AC set up that keeps everything neat under the hood. When you look at the bottom everything appears good and solid.
