This little 1971 Volkswagen "Karmann" Super Beetle Convertible is a real find ! I was out driving this BEAUTY today taking the pictures and I felt like I was driving a nearly brand new 1971 Super Beetle !! It only has 43,604 ACTUAL ORIGINAL miles since it was brand new !! This VW has only had two older woman owner's since it was brand new !! We just purchased this car from the previous older female Oregon owner and as you can clearly see in the pictures this was her pride and joy for sure. This Beetle is ready to drive anywhere !! This car is not your average old VW Beetle Convertible that is worn out with a new paint job. Thousands of dollarsand many hours were spent on the care and upkeep of this VW Karmann Convertible and boy does it show ! All of the ORIGINAL rubber weatherstripping is still soft, supple and in  GREAT condition for being original. I believe it is a nice value at the price we have it listed at considering the BEAUTIFUL condition, low original miles and only having two owners since it was brand new, WOW WHAT A FIND ! Cars like this were quite a novelty in their day to say the least but now, in this kind of shape ? Any Bug enthusiast would be pleased to own this pampered example for sure. This is a Karmann convertible which they tell me means it was built in Germany and is the one to have. It still retains the FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted front under hood data plate, FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted dash mounted Volkswagen VIN plate and FACTORY ORIGINAL owner's manual, all of which are shown in several pictures below. I drove this BEAUTY as my every-day driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and I can assure you this car runs and drives well. I drove it to the office the other morning with the top down and can see why these cars are so loved by their owners, TOO FUN !! It also does well on the freeway at modern highway speeds. If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this car for yourself, you won't be disappointed. THIS IS A QUALITY CAR FOR SURE !!

This Super Beetle has what appers to be the ORIGINAL - STRONG -  1584cc Dual Port Air Cooled Volkswagon Four cylinder motor in it that is running VERY WELL indeed. The motor still retains the ORIGINAL air cleaner housing box, ORIGINAL intake manifold, ORIGINAL exhaust manifold and the ORIGINAL Single barrel carb with automatic choke.  The motor is backed by a - SMOOTH - four speed manual gearbox / transaxle which also functions VERY well.Sounds good too with the factory style exhaust system with dual chrome tips.  The Alpine White  exterior finish on this Bug is EYE POPPING BEAUTIFUL with really little to no wear showing other than a few very small chips and is still bright, shiny and looks STUNNING to say the least as you can clearly see in the pictures below. The high quality Black vinyl  convertible top with matching black vinyl boot cover and White Convertible top interior head liner with a correct glass rear window are all NEARLY NEW and in VERY NICE condition. When I was taking the pictures Inoticed how easy it was for one person to put the top up and down. The, what appears to be mostly ALL ORIGINAL Black vinyl interior is in VERY NICE condition and looks BEAUTIFUL including VERY NICE ORIGINAL  Black vinyl adjustable front bucket seats, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black vinyl fold down rear seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL Charcoal carpeting, NICE ORIGINAL Karmann steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL  matching Black vinyl door panels, VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge clusters, NICE ORIGINAL matching Whitevinyl  sunvisors and a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Black dash with NO CRACKS !!  In my opinion you're not going to find a much nicer mostly ORIGINAL INTERIOR on a 42 year old car than the one that is in this car, UNBELIEVABLE !! This Super Beetle Convertible is nicely equipped including power wipers, original day / night rear view mirror, original gauge clusters, awesome  Craig digitalAM / FM / Cassette player stereo radio with two Jensen mid-range speakers mounted in both door panels, Dual chrome exterior side view mirrors, factory back up lights, good heater and defroster, factory front and rear seat belts, good glass and factory wing windows. The CLEAN - SOLID - "front trunk" area is equipped with the good ORIGINAL black liner, full size spare tire, jack and lug wrench. This is a QUALITY car that drives very well and is nice and tight. It is a really COOL little vehicle. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and  reflectors are clear, bright, UNCRACKED and BEAUTIFUL !!  Check out the NICE - FACTORY ORIGINAL Volkswagen steel wheels with polished stainless steel wheel covers with correct VW chrome center caps and  nearly new steel belted radial tires, boy does this combination look outstanding on this BEAUTY and really retains that clean FACTORY ORIGINAL look !! All of the exterior chrome and stainlees steel body trim is in VERY NICE condition including NICE ORIGINAL Chrome front and rear bumpers and rubber bumper guards, VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging, good ORIGINAL Chrome headlight surrounds and NICE ORIGINAL Black running boards !! I looked underneath and also included photos below, again this is a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Oregon - Idaho high mountain desert - Western car and it shows !! This is a nice Classic collector VW Convertible and it has plenty of good  looks to boot !
