The previous owners Insurance Company considered this vehicle a total loss and will make a great Rebuilder for anyone.
This 2004 Silverado 2500HD has the 6.0L V8 with auto trans. with trailer pkg. and 2-wd.
I don't seek out high mile vehicles but this is and exception and will satisfy whoever ends up with it. I was sold on the condition for the miles and the engine and performance sealed the deal as it will for you. I pass on more of the vehicles that I look at than I buy because they are junk. This engine will suprise you at how quiet and how much power and smooth shifting that it produces.
The damage is front & rear, like the truck was sandwiched in between? The front is minor and all cosmetic, no damage to radiator, condensor or windshield and air blows cold. The rear was in the center and damaged the rear step bumper that was removed for inspection and you can see no major damage to rear frame rails although tailgate & rear of bed is damaged. All in all it will be an easy repairable and make a great truck for personal use or resale cause these 3/4 ton HD,s are not easy to find that are not beat to death, as you know if ya been looking?
The overall truck is in good condition and drives straight down the road although the tires are junk and look as if good one were removed after insurance pay off because the condition of the tires don't match the truck, no rust or hail but you will find some scrapes & scratches that don't show in pics from what ever it was used for but nothing that would be expected of the average heavy duty truck with these miles, you will get you money's worth with this one.
The good condition of the interior is another reason this truck stands out above the normal work truck and looks like it belonged to the boss who did a lot of highway driving? Air blows cold and very comfortable to drive, no broke down seats, no rips, tears or odors and has tons of eye appeal for a work truck.
