396/350 HP Big Block

"1969 Chevelles were billed as "America's most popular mid-size car." They showed only minor changes for 1969, led by revised front-end styling. A single chrome bar connected quad headlights, and a slotted bumper held the parking lights. Taillight lenses were larger and more vertical, flowing into the quarter panels. Front vent windows began to fade away now that Astro Ventilation was sending outside air into several Chevelle models."

This example is a beautiful professional restoration of an original Chevelle SS completed about 7 years ago.  Please let all the pictures load (there are over 120) to see the awesome condition of the Classic Chevrolet muscle car.  Laser straight body along with mirror finish paint, this is one of the few cars that actually looks better in person than in the pictures.  According to the owner this car started life as a genuine Chevelle SS with a 396 V-8 engine. The original engine is long gone and has been replaced with a date coded correct 396/350 HP version. The transmission is a 700R4 automatic with a 12 bolt rear and positraction.  It has power steering and power disc brakes. The car was professionally repainted in the original Garnet Red, the bumpers were re-chromed and all new exterior emblems were installed, the interior and undercarriage are like new.  Rounding out the package are some great looking 15" SS wheels with BF Goodrich radial T/A tires.
