The 308 was Ferrari's first two-seat V8 road car. Made available to the public in 1975, it was the long awaited successor to the incomparable Dino 246 GT. The 308 series was a new beginning for the company as the premier builder of exotic sports cars for road use. As such, the 308 was designed to epitomize the sports car in its era. It did so admirably, and remains perhaps the most influential enthusiast car in history. The 308 is the car against which every subsequent sports car has been measured, upon which every Ferrari V8 sports and racing car has been based, and the car that brought Ferrari from the pinnacle of elite car-culture recognition into the minds of the general public. 25 years later, the shape and sound of the 308 is still "Ferrari" in the minds of many people.

MotoeXotica is offering another fabulous 1980 Ferrari 308 GTSi Targa. This car has been meticulously maintained its entire life and comes with plenty of extras – including the peace of mind that the 33K service has already been performed! It has power windows, power brakes, power mirrors and AC!

The paint is in very good condition with some exceptionally minor imperfections, which is typical of a car that is 33 years old. The front clip of the 308 is wrapped with a clear vinyl “car bra,” that is barely noticeable, to keep the front end free of rock chipping. The black Targa top comes off with ease and makes for an even more enjoyable Ferrari drive experience when the wind is whipping through your hair! The original equipment Ferrari wheels look great and show no signs of curb rash. The wheels are wrapped in P215/70 R14 radials in the front and P225/70R14 radials in the rear. All tires have lots of tread life left. The 308 did come equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes. The black leather seats look great with no signs of wear to the seats, carpet or door panels. The black dash is solid with no buckling or cracking. It has an Alpine AM/FM/CD/AUX player installed in the dashboard. The black carpet flooring is in great shape, partially due to the beautiful black and red Ferrari floor mats that rest upon the floor.

Under the rear deck sits a transversely mounted 2.9L, dual overhead cam, water cooled V8 that performs and runs great. On the road the car performs as a Ferrari should. Tons of grunt and the unforgettable Italian V8 sound coming from behind the seat. The transmission shifts fine going through the hydraulic clutch to the 5 speed synchromesh manual gated shifter in the center console. The 308 GTSi was rated to do 0-60 in 6.8 seconds, have a top speed of 142mph and have 205 horsepower with 180 foot pounds of torque. This Ferrari is just as nice today as it was the day it rolled off the showroom floor in 1980!

This car comes with an abundance of goodies. Buyer and Seller hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts of Missouri to specifically enforce the agreement to arbitrate and to enter judgment of and enforce the award of the arbitrator. All above terms and conditions are applied to vehicle sales, whether through Ebay or otherwise. Payment Terms
Payment must be made by Cashiers Check, Money Orders or Wire Transfers payable in US Dollars. A Refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 must be received within Twenty-Four(24)hours of the auctions close either by Master Card, Visa or PayPal. The buyer has seven(7) days from close of auction to inspect the vehicle. If the vehicle is not to your liking within this seven day inspection period then your deposit will be refunded 100%. If an inspection or decision takes longer then seven days and you find the vehicle not to your liking, your deposit will be forfeited and the car will be relisted. Final payment must be received within ten (10) days of the auction close. The refundable deposit only applies if you or an agent inspect said vehicle in St. Louis and find it not to your liking. I will not be responsible for buyers remorse or problems found to said vehicle once they have left my property. I am just being realistic, most of the cars I deal in are vintage and by their very nature will need TLC and some degree of attention sooner or later. These are not new cars and should not be treated as such. Once full payment has been received, Seller will fax a copy of clear title, Bill of sale, Buyers guide and additional DMV forms to the Buyer to sign and return via fax. The forms must be returned to the Seller prior to the shipment of said vehicle. Original paperwork will be sent to Buyer Via overnight mail seven(7)days from date of final payment. Transportation will commence only after final payment and signed documentation are received. Once a car is picked up from our premises, you will NOT be able to return the car.

Overseas shipments will be placed into a steel container for safe sea passage. We take care of all the details and paperwork. All you have to do is collect the car at port and enjoy!
