1959 Morgan 4/4 Series 2 Competition Chassis no. - A490 (vin - AC197089MD)

One of 43, 4/4 Series 2 competition Vehicles MMC constructed 1957 - 60.

Complete nut/bolt rebuild 1995 thru 2001- To include: new steel Chassis, cross head,

front suspension, wood body frame, sheet metal tub, door skins, components and

mechanical.

English FORD 100E - 1172 cc, side valve. Machine shop rebuild: .040 pistons,

rod inserts, bearings, valves, seats, etc. AQUAPLANE aluminium head (8:1).

intake/exhaust manifolds with twin SU MC rebuilt carburetion (40+ bhp @ 5,100 rpm).

Color code loom, lamps, kill switch, radiator fan, lifetime coolant,  etc. English FORD

three-speed gear box as fitted.

Recent  hydraulic system rebuild (`23): new master cylinders (2) wheel cylinders,

hose, lines as necessary, fluids.

Recent distributor rebuild (`24): shaft, bushing, weights, springs, etc.

15 inch disc wheels mounted - 5 original  16 inch lightweight disc wheel included.

Ancillaries: Side curtains, unfitted NOS top, luggage grid, jack, hand crank, tool kit,

owners Manual(s), etc ARMSTRONG adjustable rear lever shocks.

Spare:  100E w engine w Solex Head and components, tuning literature, MMC build

document, etc. NOS hydraulic System four wheel rebuild kits, NOS head, engine gasket

sets. English FORD  Kent engine motor mounts.

REPAINT NEEDED - Wet car cover contact paint blisters on flats as pictured.
