THE OVERVIEW THE BODY AND TRIM THE INTERIOR As is articulated here in the photos, the cockpit of this non-smoker 535i is in very nice quite original condition overall with nearly all systems and controls in excellent working order. There is some VERY slight wear on the upholstery and trim, there is a small wood piece missing on the right side of the console, trunk hinges are weak/need replacement, the door card vinyl and cardboard need refurbishment, SRS light flashes but otherwise the cockpit is in very condition throughout! The AC was cold but seems to have a leak in the system that needs to be addressed.THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This '89 BMW starts perfectly and runs extremely well with smooth and willing power, buttery smooth shifting transmission and steering with confidence-inspiring handling and braking.
