Finished in light green over black, this 58 YEAR-OLD gem features the original California black license plates with a working five-digit odometer showing just over 59,700 miles. This classic Mopar sports a good running factory V8 engine mated to the 3 speed automatic transmission, black vinyl top, correct hubcaps, am radio and factory air conditioning AND the original owner's manual! The exterior of this Imperial is in FAIR condition overall with decent original chrome and badging with LOTS of fading, nicks, scratches, dings, tattered vinyl top and a few corrosion spots! This is NOT a 100% rust-free car!
THE INTERIOR As is articulated here in the photos, the cockpit of this Chrysler is in quite good condition overall with working five-digit odometer, the radio powers up with little to no reception, the door panels show some wear, the headliner is nice and intact, the seat upholstery appears to have been redone, the carpets are a bit faded and crusty along with basic wear and tear inside this Chrysler with that vintage old car smell inside!
THE DRIVING EXPERIENCE This '66 Chrysler starts easily and runs fairly well with good torquey power and strong acceleration, buttery smooth shifting transmission, solid straight braking and smooth one-finger power steering! This is one groovy cruiser.
