About this vehicle

1937 Pontiac, coupe, the body is an excellent shape shape, there is no rust or cancer with the exception of some surface rust on the bottom of each door, I just had the engine rebuilt, the transmission is in great shape, it has new tires with less than 500 miles on them. it has a new carburetor, new brakes, new windshield wiper motor, all the lights work as well as all of the gauges. I was wondering if the water temperature gauge worked correctly and so I put on another water temperature gauge under the dash. It turns out the, original one and the new one are exactly the same. Has a new radiator. It has new carpet on the floor and behind the drivers seat. Has a new fabric cover. The door panels along with the ceiling or as they came from the factory. They do not have any tears, but they are very old and so they look air. The trunk has the original rubber floor cover. The chrome for the most part is in good shape however, if you look close at the hood, there is some small pitting of the chrome. The mileage is the original mileage, I have some documents that prove it through stickers that suggest what the mileage was at certain times in the past. The body is in excellent shape as is the drivetrain. There is one small area where there is some Bondo just above the trunk lid and a little to the driver side. It looks like someone dropped something on it and dented it and then it was fixed with some Bondo about, 6“ x 6“. Other than that, there are is no other Bondo and there are not any other problems with the body. The runningboards have the original rubber on them, which is in very good shape considering the age of the car. The radio does not work, it has power to it, and it buzzes when you turn it on, but it will not bring in a station. I assume that it needs a new tube two. The radio I believe is an original however it is attached under the dash. I’ve seen a couple of other 37s that have the radio in the same place so I am assuming it is an original installation, but I cannot guarantee that. This car is in very good shape, runs very well, starts very well, is extremely reliable and one of my favorite vehicles to drive.

Vehicle Details

1937 Pontiac coupe in very good shape, without rust, with all gauges working, all lights working, starts easily, runs out nice, with low mileage. This car sat in a barn and Washington for many years because of a overheating problem I had the engine engine removed , checked for any damage and then rebuilt less than 3000 miles ago.
