When Pontiac's lead engineer John Delorean (yes, that Delorean) and PMD's General Manager Pete Estes devised an idea of selling the performance-oriented GTO option package on Pontiac's Tempest LeMans, few could have envisioned how revolutionary of an idea it was and would eventually become.
