The 911 3.2 Carrera was the last and best iteration in the original 911 series. Many consider this the last of the true classic Porsche 911's.
The 911 Carrera features a new larger-displacement motor, a 3.2-liter horizontally opposed flat 6-cylinder engine. New intake manifold and exhaust systems were also fitted. In 1987, the Carrera recieved a new five-speed gearbox sourced from Getrag, the 1987 Carrera also featured a smoother shifting hydraulically operated clutch.
With the new engine, power was increased to 207 bhp @ 5900 rpm) for North American-delivered cars The 911 Carrera accelerated 0–60 mph in 5.4 seconds and had a top speed of 150 mph, very respectable numbers for this time period. Porsche's engineering and racing successes, benifited the Carrera, providing sports car handling with fully independent suspension and four wheel disc brakes.
Our featured 911 Carrera was treated to new paint, top, and interior approximately 1 year ago. The car looks factory fresh. The Diamond Blue Metallic paint looks showroom fresh, still having a new car luster without any dings or scratches. The (smoke free) interior seats, dashboard and steering wheel have been recovered in supple leather, with beautiful contrasting white stiching. The carpet is brand new as well. The German canvas convertable top, liner, rear window, and convertable boot are brand new. Recently serviced, and with 82,000 origional miles (only 3400 miles per year!) this Carrera runs great. These cars a delight to run through the gears, with a soundtrack only a air cooled Porsche can duplicate. Clean Carrera's with this low mileage are becoming increasingly more scarce as time goes on. This beautifully restored 911 Carrera needs nothing, it is ready to enjoy. This classic Porsche Cabriolet is top down motoring at its finest!

We require a $1500 deposit within 3 days of winning the auction. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment.
