This is a very nice, Carfax 2 owner, 2005 Volkswagen Passat GLS. It is equipped with the 1.8L turbocharged 4 cylinder motor paired with a 5 speed automatic, Tiptronic, transmission. It is Silverstone Gray Metallic with Anthracite leather interior.

Cosmetically this Passat is in great condition overall. The Silverstone Gray Metallic paint is beautifully complimented with the Anthracite interior. The exterior does not have any large dents or scratches that deter from the overall appearance. Typical, minor wear to be expected from a well cared for used vehicle. The interior is in great condition. No rips, tears, stains, discolorations, or excessive wear in the carpet or most of the seats. The passenger front seat does have some drying of the leather. It is not cracked, ripped or excessively worn. This is a NON-smoker vehicle free from any foul odors.
Mechanically this vehicle is ready to be driven and enjoyed. We have performed a through inspection and completed the necessary work to ensure a safe and great driving vehicle. The timing belt is in excellent condition with no signs of cracking, fraying edges, or hardening. Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`. We will also be happy to help arrange shipping for buyers. The cost of shipping is the buyer's responsibility and can be discussed during or after purchase has been made. We also offer pick up services. If you wish to fly in and drive home in a vehicle purchased, we will be happy to pick you up at Knoxville's airport, McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS). The airport is approximately 35 minutes from our shop's location.

For sales to buyers in TN, sales tax of 7%, along with the 2.25% (Maxing at $36.00) Local Sales Tax and the 2.75% (Maxing at $44.00) Single Article State Tax, will be added to the total sale price. For a new license plate in Knox County, $80.00. For new license plate for non-Knox County residents, actual value will be used. Transfer of existing license plate and registration, actual value used. Temporary drive out tags are included in this registration cost for in state buyers. All vehicles are available for local sale and we reserve the right to cancel an auction pending local sale.
Out of state buyers will be responsible for registration, taxes and associated fees in their home state. A $5.50 fee will be added to out of state buyer's final price if a 30 day drive out tag is needed.
