I always wonder why Aston would charge almost 100K more for the Vanquish compare to the DB9. So the first chance i get to acquire a good one, i went for it. It did not take long ( like 100 feet ) before i sense the drastic difference between the two car. And the difference is mostly all good.First the seats, after all that is where you first feel the car, and the comfort level is to say the very least shockingly good. They don't just look fantastic with the alcantara cross stitched center that matches the roof panel, they are just comfortable! More comfortable than the seats in a Bentley and that is saying something. Then the next thing you feel is the steering wheel. Where the DB9 actually feels a little heavy and slow to the touch, this is light and nimble. Much like the steering of a Ferrari but with less harshness. When you hit the gas, the rear end stays more planted on the ground and that typical side shimmy that Aston's are known for is almost all gone, better suspension geometry and a lighter car with stiffer chasis i suspect. Watching heat waves coming out of the fuctional vents on the hood is just damn good fun, bring the marshmellow folks! You can literally SEE the power in this car! The rest of it like the real aluminum trim around the speakers and door handles just shouts of workmanship as well as the aluminum owner manual covers. Yes this is the only owner's manual in all of carland that can be used as a weapon, just like M would have ordered it. It even comes with a tiny note pad for writing down that secret password that is also aluminum covered. I am sure you can also use it as a knife when needed! Then there is the shape, DB9's are gorgeous but this car with the slightly enhanced fender curve and rear fender bulges just screams of power and sport. If DB9's are like a raving beauty, this is like a raving beauty in a string bikini and a little surgical enhancement! ( tastefully done of course! ) You would have no trouble convincing anyone that machine guns do come out of the hood in this car, cause it just looks like it should! Driving this car is sheer joy, as it is light , accurate and have an very stiff chasis with no flex over bumps, yet the ride is surprisingly supple and civilized. While  lambos requires your chiropractor's number on speed dial, this car feels like going to a spa every time you get in. Is it worth the money? That is debatable at original MSRP, but at the severly depreciated price, there is only one choice....get it while they are around!This particular car is a 2 owner, no accidnet, non smoker car with great paint and near perfect interior. We went over the car from head to toe and did a very thorough service on it. It included replacing rear brake rotors,sensors and pads ( $3000+) , Parking brake pads, both fuel pumps ( $3800), door latch sensors ( $1000 ), intake collars ( just a little aged)air conditioning recharge,annual service with all fluids and filter. The car have good OEM tires and will come with the deadly manual , umbrella and two generous cans of fixaflat foam ( sorry! you don't get to change tires on Aston Martins...EVER!) Come for a test drive, but bring your check book as you are not going to want to leave this car behind!!!
