Very nice garage kept SRX. Has 6 cylinder engine and all wheel drive,navigation,panovision roof,heated seats and all the other buttons that you would expect in a Cadillac. Does not have a third seat but does have the in floor storage bins. The interior is about as nice as you could hope for, having no odors,rips, stains or tears. Non smoker car. Paint is in excellent condition. Very quite,runs and drives great having no strange noises or vibrations. New brakes,just serviced with new filters for the transmission,fuel and air. 2015 Cadillac ATS Coupe prepares to fight BMW 4 Series
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Cadillac introduced its new ATS Coupe at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show today, bringing customers an alternative to the growing range of sport luxury coupes typified by the BMW 4 Series, Audi A5 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe.
The ATS Coupe, as a slightly more premium offering, ditches the wheezy 2.5-liter engine found in the basic ATS Sedan, but retains the four-door's 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder and 3.6-liter V6. That four-pot turbo benefits from a fettling that has increased torque from 260 pound-feet to 295, although its peak is only available from 3,000 rpm to 4,600 rpm, unlike in the sedan, where peak twist arrives at just 1,700 rpm and sticks around until 5,500 rpm.
Power can be channeled to either the rear or all four wheels by the owner's choice of a Tremec six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. According to Cadillac, the new Coupe can get to 60 in 5.6 seconds when fitted with the 2.0-liter turbo.
Cadillac considering more engines, Vsport model for Escalade
Tue, 15 Jul 2014Want to roll in the latest Cadillac Escalade? You can get it with a 6.2-liter V8... or a 6.2-liter V8. Cadillac only offers the one engine option. But that may soon change.
According to the latest from Automotive News, Cadillac is contemplating a couple of new powertrain options for its blingin' big ute. The report suggests a twin-turbo V6 and a V6 turbodiesel could be offered, and that Cadillac could create a Vsport version of the Escalade like it offers on the new CTS sedan.
The more diverse engine offerings would help attract buyers from the new Lincoln Navigator, its prime competitor, which switched from a 5.4-liter V8 this year to a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6. The turbo V6 engines (both gasoline and diesel) would also help Cadillac market the Escalade overseas - particularly in Europe, where higher fuel prices preclude the prospect of driving a big V8 SUV for many buyers. Escalade sales have dropped from 35-40k units in the mid-2000s to around 12,000 the past couple of years.
