KEEPING EBAY A SAFE AND TRUSTWORTHY COMMERCE. Now onward... This 1996 Cadillac Seville STS, features a 300HP 8 Cylinder Northstar cylinder engine and automatic transmission. Power windows, locks, seats, glass sunroof and mirrors along with tan leather interior and floor mats round out the inside. This Seville has 117k miles and runs and drives smooth with the luxury Cadillac is known for, does not stall or overheat. Brakes work, radio works, lights work, horn works, heat blows warm but AC will need a freon charge. Tires have OK tread. Passenger side window does not work, may be the motor or the regulator (easy fix). I just replaced the fuel pump 5 days ago ($300, receipt provided). They can be purchased here on ebay or I have someone local I can recommend to do the repair. There is an oil leak from what looks like the oil seal but as I haven't gotten under the car, thats my best guess, as that's the area its coming from. Oil ring seal is a few bucks at your local auto parts store. Body is straight with no dents dings or missing parts, and aside from the driver front seat, interior is in good condition and a good washing and/or detailing and a seat cover will make this car sparkle. Title is clear California title but car comes with California Lien Sale papers. Please Google if you don't know what that means. But they are the best documents you can have to insure clear clean title and transfer of vehicle ownership. The car will be $161 to register in the state of California as stated on the CA DMV website. You've always wanted to own a Cadi, now here's your chance. And for a good cause. As I am so fortunate, I've decided to give back and donate a portion of the proceeds to charity and I'm allowing the winning bidder to choose. A good deed from both of us :-) Low opening bid of $200 or why wait when you can Buy It Now for $1,250. But don't wait to decide, cars go fast on eBay, so don't miss out! I have done my best to give an accurate and detailed description, but if I have inadvertently left anything out, please do not hesitate to ask, as all questions are answered promptly. Buyers should always and are welcomed and encouraged to practice due diligence, so if you are local to the Los Angeles area, you are welcome to contact me to schedule a viewing. Thanks for looking and happy motoring! mre92626, honda, toyota, camry, corolla, civic, accord, donation, donated, charity, charitable, tax deductible, deductions Please do not bid if you have questions that need to be answered to determine whether or not you want this item. Do not bid if you do not intend or do not have cash in hand to complete the sale. This is a used car, an 18 year old used car. You will NOT receive a new car. This motor vehicle is being sold AS IS with all faults, including but not limited to those described herein, as well as any other defects, whether or nor presently known or discoverable with or without inspection and operation of the vehicle. Should the motor vehicle be found to be defective after purchase, buyer is fully and soley responsible for any and all servicing and repair costs. (If applicable) If you are a California Resident intending on registering this vehicle in the State of California, AND not a Dealer, then we will provide you with either a “certificate of compliance” or a “certificate of non-compliance” along with the sale. There will be a 50.00 fee added to your total amount. The California Vehicle Code (CVC) 24007 (b) (2) issued in accordance with section 44015 of the Health and Safety Code, states that buyers can be presented with a certificate of compliance or a certificate of non-compliance (that has been issued within 90 days) before or at the time of sale. This will allow buyers to pay the registration fees and tax then transfer the car into their name at the DMV and provides them with 90 days of temporary registration from the time the certificate of non-compliance was issued for the vehicle, thus allowing the buyer time to repair the vehicle and bring it into smog conformity. This vehicle will be delivered with California Lien Sale papers, an AS IS No Warranty Waiver and Bill of Sale. This is all the paperwork you will receive. Verify with your state if this is sufficient to register the vehicle in your state, as it is all you will receive. Should you require additional paperwork, it is your due diligence as the buyer to contact the DMV and acquire all necessary documents. If sale is not completed, I will file a Non Paying bidder alert and seek litigation if needed. I retain the right to refuse bids from ebay buyers with substantial negative history or limited/no history. Winning bidder must contact me with 24 hours of auction close to inform me as to how sale will be completed. Transaction must be completed within 3 days of auction close unless otherwise discussed and item will be returned to the auction block. GM may have teased a whole group of electric vehicles
Tue, Jan 12 2021During GM's big CES press conference, the automaker highlighted a number of its upcoming electric car-related projects from delivery vans to the upcoming flagship Cadillac Celestiq. In the middle of it all, a collection of mystery cars sat in the background behind speakers. They were in the dark, lit only with their running lights, and while it's possible they're just generic filler cars or concepts, we think they could be future products. Our best shot of the cars together is shown above, and we can pretty easily identify three of the vehicles. In the center is obviously the GMC Hummer EV. On either side of it are Cadillacs. To the left seems to be the Lyriq crossover, and to the right is the Celestiq sedan. Two of these cars have production dates, and the third has been confirmed for eventual production, just without timing. This is why we think the rest of the cars are upcoming models. The next most easily identified car is on the near right behind the Cadillac Celestiq. It very clearly has a Chevy bowtie illuminated in the running lights. And looking closely, it appears to be a pickup truck. It's difficult to make out anything more than that. The nose does look a bit more rounded and swept back than the brick-like designs of the Silverado truck line. That also squares with what seemed to be the upcoming truck that appeared in the background of yet another GM presentation. GM previously said this electric Chevy truck will be a full-size model with up to 400 miles of range. That leaves us with three more mysterious models. Over to the left behind the Cadillac Lyriq are what appear to be a pair of crossovers. The one on the far left looks low, curvy, and possibly with a fastback roof. The one on the right is taller, boxier, and probably more of a full-size people hauler. It's hard to say much more beyond that. They could be new electric Buicks, which would fit in nicely with that brand's crossover portfolio, and would likely be highly successful in China, where Buicks, crossovers and electric cars are all rather hot commodities. As for the mystery car on the far right, it's quite a puzzle. We can at least rule out Buick and Cadillac, and GMC since it's definitely a car, and a rather small one compared with the other cars on display. That leaves Chevy, and possibly the autonomous division Cruise. We're leaning toward it being a Chevy, since the first Cruise vehicle is going to be a boxy pod of sorts.
Cadillac Ciel concept features in Entourage trailer
Wed, Dec 24 2014Some of us may miss HBO's Entourage more than others, but one way or another, it sure had some cool cars. The characters on the show were constantly trading between Astons, Maseratis and Ferraris – not to mention a smattering of Benzes and Escalades – but one of our favorite sets of wheels from the show's entire eight-year run was the 1965 Lincoln Continental featured in the opening credits. The vintage parade car undoubtedly provided the studio with a great way to showcase the camaraderie between the four members of the title crew, but also made us pine for a time when you could actually get your hands on a four-door convertible. Unfortunately they just don't make 'em like that anymore – not the car and not the TV show in which it featured – but fans of both will be pleased to watch this latest trailer for the upcoming Entourage movie. Not only does it include all the members of the original cast, but it also features Detroit's latest (and arguably most stylish) attempt at reviving the four-door cabriolet: the commandingly elegant and achingly desirable but sadly unobtainable Cadillac Ciel concept of 2011. 2020 Cadillac CT5 in New York: 7 questions with the chief engineer
Thu, Apr 18 2019Cadillac revealed the 2020 CT5 at the New York Auto Show, and we decided to sit down and have a chat with chief engineer Mike Bride to learn more about the car. You can read our reveal post here to get the full download, and then read on below to learn a bit more. Cadillac is still rather coy about any performance model to spawn from the CT5, but things appear to be looking up after our conversation that you can read below. Q: What's the driving nature of this car? Should we expect something similar to the CTS and ATS? A: Yes, you can see it's built off the rear-wheel-drive architecture. Our goal was to retain all of that fun-to-drive nature. Direct steering feel, responsive handling. Going forward, we ask how we can continuously improve, and that was really about driving more sophistication in the ride, a much more mannered car that's better for impact harshness and rolling isolation, really provides comfort when you want comfort over tire strips and heaves in the road. Really getting that level of isolation, but not compromising that handling and direct steering feel of the Cadillac sedans we've grown accustomed to. Q: How is this car different from the CTS underneath, and other Alpha platform cars? A: I would say this is a major revision. A lot of new parts, a lot of new part numbers, a significant evolution. In the suspension space, the links are all new, and there's been a lot of work done in isolation, so the bushings and strut mounts are all new. We've evolved the Alpha platform to now get the ride control and road isolation, the comfort aspects of it all. There are a lot of structural improvements like a changed wheelbase, an evolution in rear foot-swing and foot space from the fuel tank area to get in and out of the car better. As we developed this structure, it was about overall structural body stiffness, and impedance at the chassis attachments to really get that level of isolation from road inputs. We try to have a calm floor, a steering wheel that doesn't vibrate, and quiet to the driver's ear. Those were the paths we went after to really drive the structure to the right stiffness requirements, structural integrity, a lot of development into suspension bushings, tuning elements, strut mounts. We have a new damper technology, a ZF damper. It has MVS damper technology. It's a multi-valve system that provides less harshness from an NVH standpoint and a great optimization balance of motion control with ride inputs.
