THIS IS A 3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!!! First off let me say that if you are interested in bidding on this Cadillac and you have less than 10 positive feedback you must contact me first to assure me you are a serious bidder. If you bid and not contact me I will automatically cancel your bid. Im tired of these people that bid to win and do not pay. Sorry but thats the way it is. Now, up for sale is a 1995 Cadillac Seville STS. This car has 127487 miles on it which is low for a 95 model. The engine runs great and DOES NOT leak or burn water, NO headgasket problem with this car as it has been driven daily. The trans shifts correctly also. No major leaks underneath the car anywhere. This car is very sharp and clean for the model but having said that please keep in mind it is a 95 model so dont expect perfection. It has a few minor dings and minor scratches and a few spots where the clearcoat has come off but also very minor. It is a extremely good looking car. It has had some paint work done over the years but thats typical for a car this age. Over all the paint looks great for the model. The interior is good but again, its showing some wear and tear from years of use but its not all ripped up, just worn in places. The console lid is kinda cracked up from age I suppose. The radio needs to be hooked up as it was just put back in its original location when an after market radio was removed and not rewired. The Air I think is going to need charged up to be cool. All the windows work as do all other accessories as far as I know. Checkout the pics Ive added of the original invoice as this car was over $51,000 when it was bought new in 95. The windows have a dark tint on them and I think theres only one window that its peeling on a little. The carpet, door panels, dash etc are all in good condition for a nice daily driver. Chrome wheels are very nice and shiny, 2 new tires and the other 2 are still over half. The anti lock brake light is on in the dash, dont know why, brakes are fine, may just need a sensor. No major problem but as always want to be honest as possible about what im selling. Dont know whatelse to tell you so if you have questions please send me an email and I will get back to you asap. This is a very, very sharp car guys and gals and you will not be disappointed. The buy it now is more than fair and remember that once the reserve is met the buy it now goes away. Checkout my feedback as its over 500 and all positive so rest assure your dealing with an honest ebayer. Thanks for looking and good luck should you decide to bid on this clean, sharp 1995 Cadillac STS. Delivery may be possible depending on your location or I will give you plenty of time to pick it up as long as its paid for according to the auction terms. Also I will work with the shipper of your choice. The Cadillac has a clean WV title. Thanks REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY A 3 DAY AUCTION!!

Cadillac shows dealers convertible rendering
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Cadillac is getting serious about revitalizing and expanding its lineup, and to that end, a new report claims that brand boss Johan de Nysschen has been showing plans for several new models to the marque's dealer body - among them, a new convertible.
The droptop which Cadillac reportedly showed its dealers in sketch form, would be based on the same platform as the ATS and CTS, those it's unclear to which (if either) of those model lines the new convertible would be added, or whether the design features a canvas or folding hardtop roof. One way or another, it would be the first time Cadillac would offer a convertible since the Corvette-based XLR roadster was discontinued more than five years ago.
Quoting an unnamed brand spokesperson, Cadillac would "like to introduce an open car to the portfolio at some point," however, "it's not likely to be one of the near-term portfolio additions."
Junkyard Gem: 1997 Cadillac Catera
Sun, Jun 16 2024GM's Cadillac Division was having a tough time in the early 1990s, with an onslaught of Lexuses and Infinitis pouring across the Pacific to steal their younger customers while high-end German manufacturers picked off their older customers. Flying an S-Class-priced model between assembly lines in Turin and Hamtramck hadn't worked out, so why not look to the European outposts of the far-flung GM Empire for the next Cadillac? That's how the Catera was born, and I have found a rare first-year example in a North Carolina car graveyard. Across the Atlantic, GM's Opel and Vauxhall were doing good business with prosperous European car buyers by selling them the sleek rear-wheel-drive Omega B (whose platform also lived beneath the Holden VT Commodore in Australia). Here was a genuine German design that competed with success against BMW and Audi on their home turf! So, the Omega B was Americanized and renamed the Catera. Opel wasn't a completely unknown brand to Americans at the time, since its cars were sold here with their own badging through Buick dealerships from the middle 1950s through the late 1970s (for a much shorter period, American Pontiac dealers attempted to sell Vauxhalls). Even after that, plenty of Opel DNA showed up in the products of U.S.-market GM divisions. The Catera was by far the most affordable Cadillac for 1997, with an MSRP starting at $29,995 (about $59,113 in 2024 dollars). Being a genuine German car, it looked much more convincingly European than the DeVille ($36,995), Eldorado ($37,995) and Seville ($39,995). Inspired by the ducks on the Cadillac emblem (they were really supposed to be martlets, mythical birds with no feet and occasionally lacking beaks), Cadillac's marketers went after youthful car shoppers with a whimsical animated duck named Ziggy. For the 21st century, the birds were removed from the Cadillac emblem in order to attract California buyers under 45 years of age. As we all know, the Catera flopped hard in the marketplace. What sold well in Europe turned out not to translate so well in in North America, especially when bearing the badges of such a historically prestigious brand. The Catera's engine was a 54-degree 3.0-liter V6 rated at 200 horsepower and 192 pound-feet. Just as had been the case with its predecessor, the Allante, no manual transmission was available.
Cadillac Lyriq teased ahead of debut next week
Thu, Jul 30 2020The Cadillac Lyriq is just around the corner, set to be fully revealed on August 6. Cadillac just released a few teaser photos and videos as preparation for the big debut a week from today. It’s our best look at the production version of the car yet. Of course, you may remember photos of the EV concept released over a year ago, but the production crossover is shaping up to be a little different. This carÂ’s most intriguing element so far is the charge outlet panel integrated into the front fender. The large piece appears to lift up and slide out of the way when itÂ’s time to plug in. This reveals a decorative LED light strip that outlines the outlet, ultimately leading into the Cadillac logo above. Below the panel is a small, silver GM badge that if our guess is correct, says “Ultium” for the Ultium battery technology going into the Lyriq. The wheels feature a unique silver and black two-tone design. Those black inserts are ridged, and the wheel is likely designed for better aero performance and increased range. ItÂ’s tough to say much about the design itself, but the silhouette is giving us crossover coupe vibes with its heavily raked rear window and sloping roofline. It appears to have a couple spoilers, one on the roof and then another as a ducktail below the rear window. CadillacÂ’s video teasers provide for the briefest of front end glimpses. Still, we can see the fancy lighting signature that Cadillac has created. ThereÂ’s both a light-up Cadillac badge and small LED lighting strips integrated throughout the grille. ItÂ’s concept car-like in appearance, so we do wonder whether this will find its way into a production Lyriq. The vertical DRL weÂ’re used to seeing on other Cadillacs has also made an appearance on the outer edges of the front bumper. ItÂ’s been previously stated that the Lyriq would enter production in 2022, so even when GM does reveal the electric Cadillac next week, itÂ’ll be a long while till we see the vehicle on the road.
